Dear Dr.Mohammad Afrouziyeh, Thank you very much for the explanation. I have been following your videos and it has been very useful.Highly appreciate it . Thank you !
Can you share one video about premix? This topic is less information in detail. I have been find some books but to caculate and fomular and kind of premix isn’t mentioned
Thanks a million dear dr🙇🏻I will watch it again cause some words I didn't know the exact means and I'm going to find the meaning so watch it again to understand, that's so good my listening is excellent I understood 90%of your speech if I learn more words I will understand all the speech Thanks a lot💐
The regression equations between energy and other indicators were used at the age of 42 days, does this affect if you use it at the age of 21 days؟؟ Thank you very much for this wonderful video.
I don't think it would affect significantly. If you have seperate equations for the nutritional phases (starter, grower and finisher), then that would be great. However, using a general equation would not affect much since the requirements are given correctly for each nutritional phase. Thanks.
Thank you sir for the kind reply. I will appreciate your response on the question, that why commercial feed production is still on Linear system and not on stochastic or maximum profit tech or using the combination of both NL programming techniques. secondly the commercially available computing tools means feed formulation software which are widely used in the industry are LP based. can you pls share any tool except winfeed. thanks
Hi. You're welcome sir. Yes it can be used for ruminant nutrition as well. The only thing you need to consider is the forage inclusion in the ration. Please watch my videos about ruminant nutrition to get idea how to adjust this method for ruminant nutrition. My ruminant nutrition playlist link is ua-cam.com/play/PLb3_zyFm1FZkZXVCkGMq53H66e2ropTWq.html&si=b3RQQwTBoM6w0rLN
In layer feed formulation if you want to apply the maximum profit idea, you will need to use egg price and feed ingredients cost to optimise the dietary energy and subsequently dietary nutrients level to achieve the maximum profit. I hope this answers your question.
That's a really great question. Of course this concept can be applied in ruminant nutrition as well. We need to define the response for animal. For example in case of dairy cows the response can be milk yield or more specifically FCM (Fat-corrected milk yield). For beef the response should be daily gain and FCR. We just need to find the relevant equation for any type of response and substitute it in the model to run a Maximum Profit Feed Formulation.
I have created 4 episodes for dairy cattle ration formulation. Here is the link for the first episode. ua-cam.com/video/PP_1Nbbw_y4/v-deo.htmlsi=zjayNnNRxkk6OPqX I'll publish the next episodes in the next subsequent weeks.
Thank you doctor for teaching non linear model. I want to know that if we formulte diets based on profit, with attention to nutrients price or product price, it has not negative effects on a growth performance of chicken that needs optimum levels of nutrients.
That's a good question. The main driver in growth performance is the dietary energy/nutrients ratio. Since we are keeping the ratio in an optimum level based on the birds' requirements, the performance would not be influenced. We need to pay close attention to the energy/nutrients ratio after balancing the diet to see if that falls in an acceptable range. Thank you for considering the video and good luck.
Dear doctor, if the ratio of nutrient fall in the optimum requirements, how we can control it, because based on the price of feed and product in market this model works and we have got control on these items which maybe induce to lower optimum levels of the ratio of nutrients.
@@hamidazarm5810 there is a range for each energy/ nutrient ratio. Notice that there is an optimum range for dietary energy level based on the type of animal which I have explained in the video. For example for broilers a range of ME from 2750 to 3200 kcal/kg will create a range for the ME/nutrient ratio as well. Therefore, we will have enough room in the range to play with and balance the diet in that range.
Excellent Dear Professor, Just need to say that you have used Total nutrients and requirements, pls share if the same concept is applicable for digestible data of ingredient's nutrients. secondly; what should be the priority of the formulator to formulate on LP, Stochasitc NL, or Profit maximization because we dont know about the broiler prices and eggs prices being variables changing day to day. Appreciate your comments. Thanks. Really Impressive
Thank you for your comment. If we use by-products such as poultry byproducts, meat meal, brewers' grains, pasta byproducts,.... then using digestible nutrients will be really helpful to increase the accuracy in diet formulation and in matching nutrient composition of diet with nutrient requirement of animal. If we want to use digestible nutrient technique the method of formulation is same but we will need to convert nutrient composition of ingredients to digestible nutrients. For your second question, if you don't have any idea about the meat or egg price in the near future, then you can use normal least cost method. However, it is possible to predict the product prices based on market analysis or even using machine learning techniques to predict the prices in the near future. Good luck.
Dear Sir, It is a very informative and helpful lecture, but I cannot download the excel file from the given link in the caption of your video. Can you please share another link or correct it? I will be grateful. Thank you.
Detailed presentation thank you. I have been formulating diets for layers quails with 20% protein and 2900 energy level but i couldn't achieve the production. Can you help me out with quails feed formula.
What was your dietary Calcium level? What about the amino acids level? The more information I have about your ingredients and nutrients specification the more I can help. Cheers!
@@meroplacement7925 Nice. What I was hoping to see was the final levels of nutrients in your diet not the nutrients levels in each ingredients. Then I could have provided a constructive feedback. Anyway, by a glance at your ingredients, I can say I would not use rice bran in the diet as it would not be a good choice in this diet. In addition, you need to make sure that MBM does not exceed the standard level of TVN (Total Volatile Nitrogen), otherwise it could be really harmful for the production.
Thank you dear dr afrouziye for great presentation. dr the first part is as same as lcff? i mean the percentage of inclusion. do we calculate it in same process?
The Excel cells are the same but calculation method for the inclusion rate is completely different. Here it uses non linear method which is different from the least cost linear method.

May i add some point if you agree that at the end we can change the values and make it more practical and reasonable! or better to say we have to use the science and experience together.
