I just interviewed for a dental office manager/ marketing director position. It’s for 4 offices. I’m not experienced in dental but want to feel competent and knowledgeable. How did you get started in your position. Any advice?

That is great to hear, I wish you all the best with your interview! I have written extensively about my role as an Office Manager and have included a link to the About Us page on our website that will give more insight. I also suggest to do a search on our website for 'office manager' to see all the amazing articles and resources we have available. (Link: frontofficerocks.com/about-us/)
In addition, I encourage you to spend some time reviewing our website and please know we have many individual subscription holders who use the program to further their careers or familiarize themselves with the dental industry. Feel free to reach out to leah@frontofficerocks.com for a live site demo and she will be able to answer any questions you may have!

Laura Hatch thank you for the great reply! My interview went well. They are interviewing a total of 6 applicants from the 60 or so they received. Then will bring back 2 for a final interview and would like a marketing strategy pitch.
I’m curious how I find out about information regarding salary requirements if I’m offered the position. Since I would be managing several locations and about 20 employees plus being the marketing director how do I know what would be fair or worthwhile compensation? Most search results only show dental office manager and I’m assuming it’s one location. Any suggestions?

@@julybaby19 Congratulations, that is wonderful! My suggestion is to visit salary.com and look up both roles and do some research on the combined role. You will want to be prepared to have a salary range in mind if offered the position, or asked. I would also communicate with the interview team and know their salary expectations for the position as well to see if they match up with yours. Other than that, I would like to just wish you more luck with the position!
