This is the single most Dwarven thing I have ever seen in an anime, and it's being performed by a rabbit.
That doesn't look like a rabbit to me. That looks like a Dwarf that's been cursed by some knife-ear witch.
Btw, the name of song is [ SONG OF STEEL ]
The Author write the Lyrics in his web novel a long time ago (Since 2017) without even thinking 1 days it will become a real song in anime version
@@user-ti2rk7st3w Web Novel is Shangri-la Frontier

this feels just like JR Tolken situation. when he included songs in his novels that turned out real hard when sung in live format.
"As the sword dances, let the world sing"
Such a beautiful line.
I like how it calls back to “as the metal sings, the hammer dances”
My favorite is
From metal comes iron
From iron comes steel
From steels comes a blade
From a blade comes a sword
Holy guacamole

It almost sounded like another unlimited Blade works chant(referring to Archer from the Fate franchise)
lowkey happy MC didn't skip the cutscene for this one
I mean it's true VR with sentient NPCs, I don't think anything is skippable
As a gamer who has a blacksmith job in games i can relate to this actually singing or hearing music gets me motivated to work and do many things.
Ikr it's just way to good to see such a motivational song in an anime btw what games are they
@@DlABL0_01hmmm let's see one of my most active one is roblox since it has many games that can be accessed by 1 account log in i specially love crafting games their.
This is the sort of thing where Anime can transent the manga source material, to give deapth that text and still images can't. It also neatly highlights the need to good voice acting and music/sound talent.
Been a while since I was captivated by an anime scene like this that did the source material better. HxH end was one of the examples I gave to others
@@MrLurch133 Yeah. I mean, its not rare to have people singing in anime, BUT what is rare is that its a base machine like this guy, and not being K-pop and super flashy. This felt almost traditional, and understated.
That's the only reason the Fairy Tail Anime is worth anything. The soundtrack is a banger and adds so much feeling to the scenes.
wow this is so rare to see blacksmith had a shanty , like sailor shanty.
blacksmith shanties actually used to be extremely common throughout history, the cadence of the song helped a lot of blacksmiths focus on the timing of strikes
@@Dumebi2 for Modern perspectives it kind like formula to make good sword or other weapons, that just only my opinion, other country maybe had different version who know.
You could also prob use the song to tell how long you can hammer til you need to fan the flames. Just to get another verse in lol.
I wish people would post their blacksmithin songs
The history and culture of Katana having hymns sung and pounded in with each strike to make it stronger over the course of it's making is a wonderful thing that should absolutely be in more fantasy series!
Wasn't unique to Japan. Smiths singing or humming songs to keep rhythm is actually near-universal.
medieval blacksmiths were actually very jealous of their smithing techniques and so encripted them on song. the rhythms of hammering the matel and the time needed for the iron to cool in water were calculated trough song
this hit me with a huge wave of inspiration, what an absolutely lovely and gorgeous scene
if we don't get another forge shanty from vysache i riot
The dub should be in Norse style it would be so fucking mind blowing
Well, eventually he's going to defeat that wolf boss, regain the ability to wear armor, and SOMEONE'S going to have to make it for him; something light, but strong, and that would take a lot of skill...
Sea shanties and forge shanties. Waxing and Waning. Yin and Yang.
After reading this part of the manga, I was really looking forward to the anime, and I have to say this actually exceeded my expectations.
Same honestly! I was like "oh this is a neat song" in the manga but since you're just reading it in panels its different.. when I first heard/saw this scene I was like "holy shit, the adaptation!"
Though he may be a Rabbit Demi-human, he has the Heart and Soul of any Dwarven Blacksmith Masters of Yore who made mighty spells while hammers fell like ringing bells upon the anvil, whose songs unheard by Men or Elves.
Quick question? Who is the Fwarven Blacksmith Master of Yore you mantiont?
@@spore4893
Well I meant say masters, but there many that are known very little because Dwarfs are known to keep to themselves and and not many have seen them work in person.
No surprise he can sing his va is so talented he is alao the va for solid snake, blackbeard from one pice and Kyoraku from bleach and his father was the va Gol D. Roger
I knew this moment was coming from the manga, but never thought they'd go full ham with it. It came out brilliant! Helps that I find the sound of blacksmithing calming somehow.
What do you think. Will the anime end at the tournament or the Lycagon rematch?
@@Blitzwaffenprobably on the rematch since the fight for the tombguard boss is near in anime

@@RizzD.Kakarrot sorry for the late 2 months reply since yt just recently notified me a few min ago but i recommend reading the manga since the art style is just so good. About the colored one i think i remember seeing it though i dont read colored manga since they are kinda slow on update
Never seen this anime but this song is incredible. Fantasy folk songs like this always grip me in ways modern genres of music can't.
It's like a piece of the human spirit normally lost to time returns for a brief period as this song is being sung.
It's a shanty, a work song. It's a song that workers sing to keep themselves busy but also to keep them in beat with what they're supposed to be doing.
To those who don't know the amazing context for these types of songs, blacksmithing requires a true rhythm to it. You have to in order to make the blade evenly balanced.
this was honestly shocking and i loved it instantly, blacksmith song thats basically old folk song which makes it so much cooler and gives chills
This anime has produced by far my most FAVORITE content. Everything from songs, animation, and story. It is an absolute MASTERPIECE. This single song has also topped my list of favorite songs, second only to Broke Games.
And damn they still haven't show much, i don't think they will reach the GGC arc but that would be another level of beaitifull with towa and mc going nuts on the big screen
One of the best moments in this anime. Loved the song and imagery.
Every Forger likes to sing while crafting a weapon.... like Ornn from League of Legends
ahh yes. The Song of Hearthome. It is my favorit song as it pretty much the freljordian spirit and thr very escences of Ornn being the Forge God of Fire, Earth and Steel. But also his music pretty much fits for the good old Viking Scandinavien Blacksmiths
A Vorpals soul:
~The Fire of the forge against the sleeping sky...
Off fly the sparks
Engulfed by the night
The hammer dances
The iron sings
Bang, clang, ring
Crash, clash, bash
A blade's what you are
Power's what you are
Draw forth from the ground
Feed in the wood
Stoke the flame
Temper the metal
Cool it in water
The world turns
And the it stops
From metal comes iron
From iron comes steel
From steel comes a blade
From blade comes a sword
Dawn breaks in the night sky
The sword glimmers
It reflects the light
It tears through the dark
As the sword dances,
let the world sing~
I've been listening to this song to sleep lately and it has been very helpfull.
I always had trouble sleeping usually taking 1 to 2 hours to fall asleep, sometimes up to 8 hours or just not sleeping.
This song has something very calming about it. I love it and am very greatfull for it.
As a real life smithy, this is totally my jam, and utterly beautiful.
I've extracted the romaji lyrics to the best of my ability:
Kurai yo sora ni, ro no honoo...
Hibana wa umare, yami ga name toru.
Odoru kanazuchi, utau tetsu...
Tonkara kan-to, kon kin kan.
Omae wa yaiba. Omae wa chikara.
Tsuchi yori idete, kioku e hi o hagukumi...
Kin wo kitaete, mizu ni te hiyase...
Sekai wa meguri, shikashi te tomaru.
Kin yori tetsu-wo, tetsu yori hagane-wo...
Hagane yori yaiba-wo, yaiba yori ken-wo...
Akeru yo, sora ni ken-no kagayaki.
Hikari o utsushi, yami o kirisaku.
Odoru ken-ni, utae-a sekai.
So what class are you playing Bard of Blacksmith?
Vysache: YES.
This is the dept and quality ppl expected from SAO. Hope this can continue
THAT IS IT!!! Vash is my favorite character in this series. Long live the vorpal spirit. If they make a video game out of this anime, I'm going straight to Vysach.
And its, sparks are flying. Passion strong.
I AM the blacksmith singing the hammer and the anvil song.
This hit's me this hard and good that I want to meet real blacksmith's that are taking their work with their soul. And See how's this done and to try too with them and with motivation.
You know this has the DNA of 80s-90s OVA energy in it. And I love that.
Bro I am so freaking glad this got more than 12 episodes.... I hope this gets a season 2 afterwards too, you can tell how much heart went into this scene
Thanks now I can play it on infinite loop, as I hope the English version won't disappoint once it is released.
I put it in bucle because it is so good, I've been watching anime for about 10 years and is the first time I see and hear something like this.
This shit is peak.
Think it’s one of my favorite anime moments of the year tbqh.
Everytime he strikes the hammer my heart and soul feels so happy hearing the steel ring with a wondrous sound
shout out to all the blacksmith players out there! You guys make excellent equipment :D
существовали песни заговоры на сталь. на масло для закалки. на горн. на огонь. в целом ничего удивительного)
no matter how many times i rewatch this the song pumps me up ...i wish i could learn Japanese just to sing this
This is art. Not too often you see a sword Born. Not made like other places.
This has no business going so hard
One of my biggest sorrows is that by the time vr/divevr systems like this become a possible reality, I will likely be too old to use them safely, or long dead.
As a big fan of the Dwarfs, I can say that I love this song
With moments like this I hope the full Manga gets animated eventually cause this...this was beautiful in both animation and the song simple as it was

Revise of my previous comment. Lets go!
Oh monsters big. And monsters small.
Before our hunters, you all will fall.
They chop you up, and bring you here.
When we gaze upon you, we feel no fear.
Oh monsters strong, and tough, you see.
Before our hammers, how weak they may be.
CLANG! CLANG! our hammer goes.
FWOOSH! FWOOSH! The fire blows.
CLANG! CLANG! The hammer goes.
FWOOSH! FWOOSH! the fire blows.
Strike with our heart
And shape with our flesh.
A weapon we forge, is the best of the best.
Now among the monster out there in world.
There are those power can make it unfurl.
The elder dragons, force of nature they are.
But to our Hunters, their powers arent far.
As we clang away, and stoke the flame, we turn even the dragons from fear to our gear....
Oh monsters big. Oh monsters small.
Before our hammers, you all will fall.
We feel no fear.
We feel no hate.
For we are the Forgers, who decide your fate....
Clang clang. The hammer goes.
Fwoosh fwoosh the fire blows x3
I call it. The Ballad of the Forger.
I'll certainly keep it in mind to include this in a fan project of mine involving monster hunter and dauntless, whenever I quit procrastinating on learning animation and 3d stuff. With your permission of course.
@@furionmax7824 made sure to take a screenshot with your name in it just for that purpose. 😋👍
This has the same feeling as hearing my dad sing when I was small. I don’t mean singing along to a radio, I mean singing for the sole purpose of passing time. He rarely does it, even less so now. But when he sings, it’s just had the same badass energy as this bura bun hammering that blade.
I've never read the manga nor seen this.....and now I want to commission a sword 🗡️ from this Dude and go on an adventure 😆❤
I thought I recognized that gravelly tone! His voice actor is the same as Adachi in Yakuza Like A Dragon! Already knew the man had a great singing voice from his version of Machine Gun Kiss, but this one really sounds like Adachi singing it, awesome!
Well my Monday just got better after watching this!
I'd like that he's using the rhythm of this shanty to align his hammer with the magic circles at the perfect moment.
Nice vibes 💜👌
Finally, the English version - thank you! ❤
0:54 I like this part quite a bit. Specifically how it ties together the 5 elements you might see in a fantasy story like this.
“Draw forth from the ground
Feed in the wood.
Stoke the flames.
Temper the metal.
Cool it in water.”
Earth, Wood, Fire, Metal, Water
This list is part of why Javanese from Indonesia,Revere their Kris dagers as guardian spirit vessel
I can’t wait to see what the dubs do with this scene. It would be fine enough to simply use the original audio, but I think I’d love to see them try to make a version of the song in English.
This is my new favourite song in anime thank you for making the utube vid for it
The Dwarfs would love this rabbit.
With as much of a Chad as Vysache is, I am convinced that he is one of the seven Colossi.
Oh yes! "The Trash Game Hunter, Tries Out A Godly Game".
Now i wanna see a Dark Souls parody of *Andre smithing at incredibly fast speed!*
Coolest weapon crafting cutscene.
everytime i expect a "Hello Vysache, Michael here."
now i want a mmrpg from this anime i need the vorpal scenario
This song somehow makes it feel like it's from Studio ghibli movies

Just to point out something i found kinda neat
At 0:53 the following five lines are about the 5 chinese elements

Wood
Fire
Metal
Water

teh best part of the episode. I really love the song and the music

They didn't change the song AT ALL in the english dub, it was THAT good.
This just resonated with me I feel motivated
My favorite scene of the Anime so far
THIS SONG WAS AWESOMEEEE

I don't know about Blacksmith master in bleach but he's definitely the current Captain Commander of Gotei 13, Kyouraku Shunsui
As a monster hunter player. This is something i always imagined the smiths sing every time they forge me a new piece of gear.
Oh monsters big. Oh monsters small
Before my forge, you all will fall.
Bang bang our hammers strikes.
Woosh! Woosh the flames will roar.
Into the metal our soul we pour.
The elder dragons they may instill fear.
But in the end their flesh becomes our gear.....
Thoughts? I made this up while half asleep. Lol.
More please? xD Long time Monster Hunter player as well, love this
The music whenever you order food gives similar vibes too. Especially when rise has lyrics for the dango song
Hey, Vsyache

Where is your forge?
*Vsauce theme boom*
Im surprised this arnt on spodify yet
This episode was already giving some pretty great music but then this song hit and I went we didn't deserve this great piece.
I’d love this in a game, a blacksmith that depending on what upgrades you are doing they’d hum to fully sing.
Each milestone changes the song or gets another part.
It’s much better than a loading screen.
But hey being a blacksmith wouldn’t be so bad if I could hum as I craft (cuz it’s not a dumb bar)
Amazing 🔥👌
The most dwarven rabbit.
Dude, he is literally Ornn
I can't tell if it sounds more like one of those work songs like what they sing while farming; Or if it sounds more like a prayer? 🙏
It's a work song:
It's like a shanty, a song sung to keep in beat of such a task
Thumbnail is epic as hell
It's insane to think that black beard, yujiro ans shinsui could do that
Wish that this was on Spotify or Appel music
Respect
I wouldn't be surprised if the VA actually sang this.
He did. We just heard Yujiro hanma, Blackbeard, All for one and Kyouraku Shunsui sing 😂😂
I really hope then when we eventually get full dive vr like this anime that there’s scenes like this that just grab your attention and yes I know it will probably be out of my lifetime that we get full dive vr
The fact that his VA is also the voice of Adachi from Yakuza 7 as well as Lord Shimura gives me life
Love this song
