- Ever since Tammy was little, she had been hearing about how Tulbagh is ALWAYS on Oma and Oupa's itinerary... Now it was time for us, many years later, to find out why!
Before reaching this quaint little town, our day already started off so well... We had left Yzerfontein and made our way to Darling (that's the name of the town... just so ya know!) where we indulged in so much goodness (well, that's questionable I suppose...). From Darling Brew to the Maralade Cat, and of course, to Darling Sweet. Fret not, we still held true to ourselves and visited the Darling Museum and made one last quick stop at Evita se Perron for cake before heading towards Tulbagh itself.
Now, we cannot express enough how we believe we stayed in the best place in Tulbagh. The location was perfect, the food was excellent, the room was amazing (two fireplaces!) and they even put together an itinerary for us! That's really the best way to explore a town; getting the locals to show you around.
So yes, there's more. A sanctuary for rescued animals, an olive tasting and even a short hike... I think it's best you watch the vlog to see how it all came together! Or just wait for the travel guide and do it yourself! Woohoo!

**The Oudekloof Pass is not the second oldest pass in South Africa as stated in the video, but rather the oldest pass built in Tulbagh.
