DeWalt does't sell the depth guide separately so you need to buy the three parts which make it up -- the N275350 block assy, the N275341 metal rod and the N278801 knob. Amazon does sell all three.
This video was made in late 2022. As of Spring 2023 Daicamping has made a bigger version of the DL1, the model is DL30. The size and toolset is very similar to the Leatherman Surge.
My Leatherman showed up covered in soot and grit straight from the factory and didn’t include extender or bits is showed in all the images. Was still like 150 bucks, rusts quick and attachments are top dollar.
Yep mine rust easy af and I'm surprised they haven't resolved this. Even much cheaper knives and multitools use better steels. As to proprietory bit sizes, that's just a rip off.
For those of you wondering if he cut himself on a blade that wasn't properly locked into place while deploying another tool. I can assure you it was not the case. He nicked his Finger at 1:39 on the Saw Blade. EDIT: I think I was wrong about this @SnaxxNZGaming hit the nail on the Head. I watched it again in HD and slowmo. See His Reply to my Comment below. It was actually cut by an undeployed tool. No cut at 1:19. He squeezes the tool at 1:20 to release the bade and when he release his grip at 1:21 you can see the fresh cut.
@@simonh6371 funny you should say that, apart from my original mirror polished PST all my other LM tools have rusted and they havent even been put out in the rain!. im done with LM their warranty is great but thats little use to me when I snap a tool in the middle of nowhere, im sticking with my victorinos swiss tool from now on.

Clearly a knock-off of the Leatherman Wave with a slightly different toolset. The 7CR17MoV-blade-steel isn't bad - certainly a thing to think about, if you can't afford a Leatherman and don't mind buying knock-offs. Actual price at aliexpress is around 42€

That's a tried and tested shape of can opener dating back to the 1950s, no need to test it. Like TM says he has some the same on Leathermans, as long as this one isn't made of cheese it will get the job done no problem.

probably better made than the crap coming from leatherman, ive lost count of the amount of tools ive sent back to them when they break.
I'm not impressed by the way they rust, you'd think they'd have got to grips with that issue with the prices they charge.

How long is it? Doesn't look as big as the surge
It's 4" closed. I have one. It's literally a Wave with an outside scissor in place of the file and an awl in place of the inside scissor.

1:18 - no cut yet, upon deploying the blade he slips on what is probably the backside of the saw or a sharp edge on the release latch.. oopsie
