hi Scott, thank you for all the great videos they have been very helpful to me when restoring my 44 MB. If you ever get a chance I would love to see how you go about removing and installing differential pinion seal, all the best, Marty
I have a 43 Mb and noticed a uniform dent in back of the side handels on the tub after removing the Bondo that someone thought it was a good idea to skim the body with some time ago .. . was this a manufacturing mark ? I am trying to preserve it as all original if possible .
Nate Volkschevy on a list that I have started the closest numbers to yours are 269980 (5-18-45) and 270354 (6-45) The list is being compiled from owners contributing.
Hey Scott, question for you. I am restoring a 47 CJ2a and thinking ahead to top bows and soft top. I much prefer the angled bows and top style on the MB. Could I remove my brackets and weld on the MB brackets and make the MB top work for my CJ? I plan to bolt the tailgate shut and add the jerry can and spare on the rear too. Thanks in advance! Jeff
Jeff Krete yes, that is exactly what I did with my Grandfathers 1946 CJ2A. I will post a pic of it in the community section of this channel this evening when I get back to my shop👍
That laugh makes it seem as if you're wearing the "Wrong Jacket"! Maybe one with extra long sleeves that tie in back is in order? ;) They put the Grab Handles on the Jeep so it could be moved by Brute Human Force, to get it Un-Stuck, or otherwise needing to be moved/manipulated.
Great info, Scott
EDS Transit Scott thank you my friend. 👍

Alway nice watching your videos 👍
Thank you philip👍
Scott, you are great at instructional videos. Wonder where you got the joke about the tools, maybe by watching me grab mine from my mess of a shed.

I would be soooo much easier with the exhaust pipe disconnect. 👍

There is a list on the G503 forum that can help.
I’ll see if I can find a link for you.

@@TeamG503 I'm in a similar boat, how would you like up the handles on a cj tub with not prior handles holes?

Kickinpony.66 I’m wearing the right jacket, and looking like I do, I’m asking for trouble 😉😂😂👍
Kickinpony.66 and yes, most people who try to install have a problem with hole alignment. Simple tool, we hear it all the time.
@@TeamG503 Well, as long as you don't walk into a Small Town, I think you'll be ok :)
Kickinpony.66 all I wanted was something to eat😉
It's called a podger
The handle is called a podger?
No the bar you use to align the holes
@@TeamG503 the bar you used to align the holes is a podger
