Maddukks Do you know anything about game design? Little things like improving the graphics and debugging are done towards the end of development.
The graphics don't suck. It does it's job and it doesn't need to be overly intensive. At least it's running at 60 fps. In terms of controls, I do hope Nintendo keeps the option to toggle gyro functionality in this game.

***** I'm just amazed at how many fanboys think this looks stunning. Uncharted 4 looks stunning. Mario 3D World looks way better then this. They played it way to safe and just HD'd the N64 version. It doesn't have that "pop" or "wow" factor. Just being honest dude.

People were sending links to how it looks like it, with a Dolphin Emulator upscaled in 1080p.
But this game looks like it's Native *1280 x 720* or *1920 x 1080*, it doesn't look like a Gamecube game >.>

Only disappointment from this game is the lack of multiplayer... (Well I only heard online multiplayer anyway. Can anyone confirm if the same goes for local multiplayer?)
Aside from that glaring omission I think this game looks awesome so I'm not sure why people are hating on this. I mean we have been asking for a new star fox for a while right?

***** From what I understand, the local multiplayer consists of a co-op mode where one player controls the Arwing and the other shoots. There won't be any online multiplayer for Star Fox at launch, but a 1 vs 1 online mode is something they're thinking about including later on.

And like so many other comments sections before it, more people are complaining about how "everyone is hating on the graphics" than people actually complaining about the graphics.

Jeff Brander You know, while I'm sad that we got a Metroid spin-off instead of a main series one, I would laugh if in the last E3 day Nintendo showed a real Metroid before packing up.
Yeah, just keep your fingers crossed. In my opinion, this years E3 so far has been my least favourite in Nintendo's favour. All though I am looking forward to Mario Maker because I always loved playing SMBX which has a similar building system to Mario Maker. As for this new Star Fox game, I personally hope that they have a multiplayer aspect to it. Also hoping for a great replay value in this game as well.

Yeah like that new Zelda game for the Wii U. I'm totally stoked for that game. I also liked the idea of bringing the Mario and Luigi series and Paper Mario series together for a game, I really want to see how that turns out (Hopefully for the better).

So excited to see this game come to fruition. Star Fox 64 was what got me into video games and now continues to be one of my root inspirations as I'm studying game development and 3d animation in college. It's just so amazing to see how Miyamoto continues to amaze me with fun, and innovative games in an industry that is so afraid of trying something new. It's amazing to see someone so passionate about what he makes I can only hope to be close to the caliber of a dev he is.
So Metroid Zero Mission was a re-imagining of the original Metroid. Star Fox Zero, at this point, is a re-imagining of Star Fox 64. Right now, I can't help but feel a bit disappointed. We already have a remake of Star Fox 64. They've gotten the engine set up well, it seems, now they should build something new and interesting with the plot/setting. I'm not down for ANOTHER Nintendo re-hash.
Matt Steelman After Starfox Adventures, Assault, and Command, people wanted another traditional Starfox game that wasn't a remake of Starfox 64. And you're complaining that this game is a remake of Starfox 64 just because it has the same gameplay that fans wanted to come back.
I think your missing the point. It's more akin to ocarina of time and twilight princess where twilight princess was in the style of ocarina and drew major influence from it. It's not going to be another remake or take place after 64, rather you might swing by katina/sector z, see some farmiliar faces and have the majority of the setting take place in the lylat system. In other words pretend the star fox team went back in time before 64's story but the events of the last game never occur and a completely different timeline takes place with this new game.

Did you hear what they said? It has an entirely different story, New mechanics, features, etc. It's not a rehash like certain other games.

Two thumbs up for both Miyamoto and Bayonetta 2 director Hashimoto in making Star Fox Zero for Wii U. In the next 2 years, I hope they'll work together on making Bayonetta 3 for Nintendo's new generation system.

Man... its really sad that Star Fox is coming back on a console like the Wii U. This series deserves a chance on a console with a decently sized install base. I'm afraid that Zero won't sell very well, which could lead to another Star Fox hiatus

Its simple man. Star Fox deserves to make its comeback on a successful system. The Wii U is no joke, the worst place it could have come back too. The Wii would have been much better (financially speaking).
I'm just so happy we finally have another Star Fox games. I'm looking forward to playing it soooo much.

This looks so awesome! I beat Star Fox Adventures and that dinosaur drove me nuts. This is exactly what Star Fox should be, to me anyway. Good job Nintendo!! Now get to work on a new Metroid and I can die happy.

i thought the graphics didnt look so great in the main digital event, but here in this video they look super clean. im actually really happy with how it looks to me in this video. cant wait!

I'm bored of people complaining about the graphics, like really! Do you expect some PS4 "realistic" graphics or Xbox One's Halo "fantastic space" background?! Jesus... Funny kids pretending to be "hardcore" gamers. And for the love of God, is not the graphics you're complaining about, it's the ARTSTYLE! There's a freaking fine line between GRAPHICS and ARTSTYLE DESIGN! Oh, and one more thing... IT'S... NINTENDO! It's funny the fact that a lot people were asking for a new Star Fox, now that it's almost here, there will always be people who wants to complain about simple things... If you want to play extreme "graphics" as you claim and an epic intense dogfights go buy either a PS3 or Xbox 360 and get Ace Combat: Assault Horizon 2 and make me a favor, leave this game for us the real Star Fox fans!!

The Graphics look Great, Look, Their not Bad, There Good!
The graphics look amazing, even tho it looks almost like a remake of the 64 it still has more to give, such as new vehicles, new ways to complete missions, new type of gameplay, and a different way the story is going.

looks amazing. I like how there's a freedom to play how you want. Including when and when not to best use the gamepad for targeting as opposed to just flying.

Why would people complain about the graphics? Looks great to me.
The music is very Star Wars, that's a nice bonus. Hopefully they add an online co-op mode after release, but knowing Miyamoto and Platinum the game will be amazing as is.
The gameplay seems really nice to be honest!!!, but hey, IS Star Fox ,what could I expect? xD
Alright, now that I've had hours to cool down, the E3 wasn't as bad as we all made it out to be, but they didn't show anything new, and I really hope they decide to talk about some things from 2016 a bit early to ensure us that more games are on the way

To me i have PS4 and i bout the Wii U few months back coz i miss Nintendo's graphics im done with all games in other consols trying to making it looks “real”. I can't decide whether this reminds me more of Star Wars or Transformers. And that's a good thing.
That first boss, you can beat him like they do in this video or you can get inside and destroy it, and that way you get "mission accomplished", like in the good old times of Star Fox 64. I like that.

I think the reason for the not-so-SUPERHDGEN-GERFIX is because they're rendering the TV screen and the gamepad screen at pretty high-detail, and having two camera's at highest quality can take a toll on game performace. I don't mind, the game looks good enough honestly.

You must remember that playing on the TV usually looks better than it does on the youtube screen. Please keep in mind!

To anyone that is saying this game looks bad you must have never played a star fox game before. This is totally consistent with SF art style and a major improvement over previous versions. I was totally stoked when I first saw the footage of the game and equally stunned by the amount of people complaining about graphics. Nintendo has made some mistakes but the graphics in this game is not one of them! Renderings and 3d models look great and the frame rate is solid. NO complaints here.

Guys tbh Nintendo games arent about Graphics, its the fun that counts. If you want amazing Graphics, build a gaming pc most xbone and ps4 cant even run full hd at 60 fps... so yea there goes that.
And i must say, i was way more hyped for a new starfox game then anything else. Starfox 64/ or lylatwars (in Europe) was one of my Favorite games back then, so yea Finally! theres a new one and it looks good. ^^

Awesome, they brought back ideas from Star Fox 2 into this game. Wonder if that covers the new elements between this and Star Fox Command. Though I gotta say, even tho this is based of the 64 game, the enemies look so low poly :/ Wish they had the sleek design of SFAssault
The hype is incredibly real for stair fax. Personally, I hope we get a local/online battle mode similar to 64 3d. Or an awesome co-op arwing wing ride like in assault
My guess is they're using mid side processing to get the audio effect on the gamepad.

YellowFroggy33 Krystal probably isn't happening in this one - thinking of this game as "Star Fox 64 - Reimagined", Krystal doesn't enter the picture for 8 years after this game is over, assuming the plot follows the same major points.
Speaking of plot points, I like that Pigma shows up alone in that bit, presuming that it's also an early stage. It looks like maybe Star Wolf hadn't perhaps been formed yet, or maybe he hadn't been attached to the squad by Andross? With Pigma being the traitor who got James killed, I like that he shows up alone, and that Fox acknowledges him. Pigma needs no introduction for Fox, as he was part of his dad's team!

After Mario Kart 8, there is no excuse for a game to look less good than that. I know it's the gameplay that matters most, but presentation is also important.

Am i the only one thinks that what they played looked better then what they showed on their digital event?
I know that it sounds weird but like for example,in the Digital Event gameplay the rocks didn't have any details at all and the water looked awful but now they look okay.
Maybe it's only me. xD
Graphics are meh but the Gamepad - TV thing is really interesting and the dog fights in all range mode look like a lot of fun. Once you get used it makes it easier to see your targets. The gameplay seems to work, if they work on the graphics for a few more months this thing can be really good.
