Hello, I'm from Poland. In my country, no one in power wants to listen to specialist doctors, doctors in virology, and no one wants to analyze, compare statistical data and draw conclusions based on them. The rulers behave as if they have paid a lot of money to liquidate the economy and families.
On TV screens, we can only see a handful of celebrity doctors spreading a pandemic of fear and pitting people on themselves. They don't want to argue with other doctors about numbers, facts. On the other hand, people who operate with facts are not admitted to public discussions, their voices are muted and their people are marginalized despite scientific achievements. People in Poland do not believe in the threat from the virus, they believe in the threat from governments.

Most people in nursing homes almost always die from some respiratory complication ie pneumonia, my own father had Dementia, but succumbed to pneumonia in the end.

2018 CDC report stated that 2/3 of all deaths for 75+ die of/from pneumonia. In other words they would have died anyway. We have essentially killed off many weak and as nuesing homes open back up for loved ones and staff getting more lax more will die. If you look at death ages the ave. death age has been rising. In other words as Dr. Atlas said it is a killing machine for nursing homes especially. How many of these early deaths of below 18 had comorbitities? 75+ represents 7% of population but yet represents 60% of deaths.

There are not enough critical thinkers out there making a difference. Critical thinking is a an aspect of our learning that is so short in supply these days. Indeed, In 1909, Typhoid Mary had her freedom taken as it was said that she was an asymptomatic spreader. Yet, one could not begin to substantiate this for sure until 1950 beginning with Linus Pauling. Now I am in isolation since 25 days and with me more than other 6 people are together. We don't have any symptoms from the beginning but our all pcr shows positive.... Why? Is it possible to spread virus from us? How long it takes to shows pcr negative? We all are totally frustrated..... I think who should clearly mentioned that asymptomatic people do not spread virus..... If it spread... How... We need clarification and we can't stay in isolation for a month... You probably already got an answer to your question, but here is the current thinking: The pcr test tells you if there is virus in your body, but it cannot tell you if that virus is alive or dead. After reccovering from a covid, there are virus particles in your body. you are no longer infected, and you are not contagious. It's called viral shedding. I don't think scientists know how long it takes for your body to clear the inocuous virus particles , but they are what is causing your false positive. If you could get a serology test (for antibodies instead of virus), it would probably come back positive, meaning you had covid, your body fought it off and now you have antibodies. You probably have dead virus particles AND antibodies. They suspect immunity from those antibodies last at least 3 months, but that could change with the weatheer LOL!

the public is not aware of "symptoms" person can have a pain, take Tylenol and be without fever.
no one wants their loved one to die, and children (young people) may not understand "symptom" and give it to grandma.

Hospitals need to wake up! I live in Florida and they are not allowing care givers that do not show symptoms in the see their loved ones going threw transplant surgery's! This is wrong. I can't even get my care giver to come with me on an meeting with several hospital employees in an office room environment because they say they fear for spread of covid. The fear mongering from march has done irreversible damage. The medical center in which i speak is "The Transplant Institute of Florida at Largo Medical Center" Maybe Dr.Scott Atlas wouldn't mind making a team of people to call these hospitals and tell them to lighten up?

Transplants are a very tricky business. LONG before the covid BS, transplant patients were kept in isolation for a very simple reason. Their IMMUNE systems have all but been turned OFF so they don't reject the new tissue. As they heal and get stronger, that dampened down immune system is eased back on slowly to see if it tries to reject the transplant. But it also means even a "common cold" could create havoc with the patient. So, not due to covid, just trying to keep the patients isolated from everything for a few days or weeks.

So basically he doesn't get the difference between a truly asymtomatic person (someone who never deveolps symptoms) and pre-symptomatic (those who eventually develop symptoms, which at this point looks to be the vast majority of those infected). Truly asymptomatic cases are rare, so of course transmission from them (which you would not expect to be 100%) is rarer still. That does not in any way suggest they aren't able to transmit the virus; all it really means is that true asymptomatic cases are very rare. Pre-symptomatic cases are a dime a dozen, so...you know...wear a mask.
Arguing that we should not wear masks because asymptomatic transmission is rare is like saying we should abolish j-walking laws because pedestrian deaths from Ferraris is rare. Yeah the WHO press thing was confusing, but you know what, science is hard and harder when we are still gathering data. New data, new position based on that new data. That's how science works.

no symptoms is not hard to see, if you dont have fever (my doctor told me years ago fever is the prime time period of infection) if you dont have fever no sore throat no headache or body aches etc, your asymptomic. but until you show symptoms your not contagious. otherwise we would be getting sick again and again because everyone would be spreading it. this is just another lie to scare people to justify all their oppressive and unjust house arrests destruction of jobs and business and destruction of trust and social interactions.
