Very cool, but since this is for a quick DIY tank toy, it would be VERY helpful if you provided links to where you got the materials. I found your geared motors on eBay, but for a cheap DIY toy, it would be nice to find somewhere where one can get a cheap RC set as well.

This tank is awesome but it can be more awesome if the tank can=
1.have a mechanism for shooting BB's pallets.
2.can turn it side turret in 180° view.
3.have a mini size live streaming camera on the top of the turret.
