- From my POV: First ever USA vs Canada (Chigg vs MeMiner) in an undeclared metal detecting competition for natural silver at an abandoned silver mine. Best man wins!
Here is the link to the next competition: • 6.75 lbs SILVER. Mini... - Наука та технологія
True to Canadian form you are being so polite you are letting your guest win :) great stuff guys :)
And if we succeed, we say "sorry". LOL
Im Acadian and Metis, Eastern Woodlands :) French first language English second. Born in Nova Scotia so that also makes me a BlueNoser. Canadians Rock (but so do all Humans when they choose too) ;) :) I even have a tribal arm band with a Canadian flag in it In my next upload Ill show you my Tattoos and explain them :)Ive worked 4 pairs of Sorrels of my feet over the years I spent in the oilpatch in Alberta on part of my walkabout journey.:).
Because of the whole experience and graciousness in the time spent with you and Daisy, Chigg would say he did win.
He was wonderful company. A trip I will remember.
Update on my grandson for you since you have not heard from him in email. He now has this past week been combating a staff infection in the leg. Stitches came out and leg wound has reopened. So back at doctors as I write, to be retreated and stitched again. CDC says we have a huge problem with staff, now I believe it wholeheartedly. All we can come up with is that it left with him from hospital. He has been nowhere and I am diligent about all things that can spread infection/staff. Camp is coming up and it's not looking good now. He will be in touch and he thinks of you daily. We'll have a marathon of all he's missed since this began. I promised we would watch together as usual, so I just had to watch this one, so I could let you know after all :)
You're such a good sport, better luck next time I'm sure. Thanks
I am happy for anybody who finds something good. If they continuously do well, then I watch and learn. One thing for sure, Aquachigger is awesome with a metal detector and can dig a hole faster than a honey badger. Don't bet against him in any detecting shootout. ;-)
*GREAT WORK .... YOU ALWAYS SURPRISING US ....!!!! THANKS ...*
Awww "my" Daisy, poor little lady....I think she will be good(no bugs) in the car, daddy takes care of her, she is a good girl to stay there, good girl....wish it wasn't so hot for you all....but u all are so much fun! Thankyou with your videos, Chigg too!
Oh my god, i will say that was fun to see Me find that little piece of metal.
Cool video, I did good at the Beaver walking around for an hour the other day with just my cheap pin pointer. I found 8 or 9 pieces with silver in about an hour. All of em on the surface, just checked em with the pin pointer. I also got a 5" diamomd blade for my angle grinder so I can hack em in half.. it cant slice well because its only as steady as the hand that holds it, but I can cut rocks in half and see whats in em :)
Nice! I spent hours digging dry holes in the hot sun...
meMiner oh Im looking forward to that too :)
Their are some decent videos on youtube on how to make an angle grinder stand to use it as stationary cut off tool ua-cam.com/video/QHMBQMAl45I/v-deo.html
Loved the vid... just saying chigg cut out our challenge part on our last hunt from his vid because he may or may not have lost to me 😁 but great vid so we will call it even for us vs Canada lol
He whooped me fair and square this time. I still have one more video to post where it is my opportunity to catch up. Might need to refer to your keeping the honour of Canada intact, while I sulk off to a corner. LOL
meMiner haha I dont know if people realize how quick and determined and dng good chigg really is lol.
I sure learned...
another great specimen haha..by the way i had my first decent metal detecting find on the shores of lake eerie the other day. probably my 3rd time out.. at first glance it looked like a penny, but when i took it back and cleaned it up it wasn't a penny at all. It was a silver coin from Egypt, unfortunately cant see the year but somewhere from 1936-1952. i missed so many targets tho cause i couldn't hear my pinpointer with the rolling waves, so definitely need to invest in a pointer like yours. Keep the videos coming, you will be at 10k subscribers in no time
No kidding. Makes you wonder about its story. Great find!
Go MeMiner! Go Canada! That is still a pretty find. Hmmm maybe he was getting even for dropping that one nugget?
Good point. I never did find that nugget that I dropped. ;-)
I used to live in Sudbury. We moved there back in the 60's. Inco was in site and black hills everywhere. The fishing used to be awesome. :) No not a bad rock at all. I call it a success
I had a summer job in Calgary when I was at University. When it was time to come home, all of the flights were booked, so I took a bus to Toronto. It pulled into Sudbury at about midnight and was put out of service until the morning (for cleaning). I didn't want to get a motel, so climbed one of those huge slag heaps and went to sleep on top of it until the sun rose.
Funny how those bus stations lock you out,,, to this very day. Trip To Kamloops B.C. left me outside till 6 am @ the Vancouver Bus/train..Terminal. Now, Greyhound is being canceled to distant destinations in BC. Smells like a deteriorating Biz.
Are they commercially mining the cobalt in the area, an essential element in the manufacture of batteries for electric cars.
10:40 Good buddy! Some good "clean" humour! (I spelled that the funny un American way to respect your version of English, eh!)
I'm rooting for ya! Let's go team meMiner!
I hate digging those cracking signals down a foot plus only to get wire or sheet metal lol
Whomp, whomp, try again! LOL!!
whomp, whomp...
Do you know those rocks come from space. Good videos!
These are formed naturally in the earth.
🇺🇸
Cool and 1000000. Nice
Wow! Thanks much.
This was 2 years ago but do you remember what detector you were using
Two years ago, I was mostly using a Minelab GPX5000 and my backup detector Fisher F75. I have not used the GPX at all this year.
Good to know saving up for a detector
@@mccullochontario3719 If you want silver from that area, you don't need a GPX. Any name brand VLF will find silver. My go-to right now is a Minelab Equinox
@@meMiner my just a kid so I can’t spend that much what about a garret ace 250
@@meMiner or a fisher f22
👊👊👊👊
Poor Daisy need a mosquito net....Nice finds
No way she would wear one. I can spray her belly with repellent, although she hates and does not understand it. Funny dog, she can be in the rain or river all day long, but hates when I spray her. She is the same way with a hose spraying water.
come on lets see it polished lol
The vib lap is just started running right now with other rocks recently cut. I have high hopes for some good slices coming up.
Tip: when you are digging a hole on a hill .... toss what you remove from the hole DOWNSLOPE!!! That way it won’t roll back into your hole and fill it up!
That would be the smart way to do it. ;-)
