Awesome video! I really appreciate that you did this vid! I just got a 2004 Monster (1000s), and hopefully your videos give me that guidance I need for my mods!!! Again, gracias!!!
Wanting to wire in Led's for my front indicators as well on my 08' Ducati Monster. I have a integrated led taillight with a built in resistor. I noticed you didnt wire in a resistor for the front led indicators, just wondering why they dont hyperflash? And if I will need to install resistors on my setup?
I just installed these same blinkers on a Monster S2R 800 and they hyperflash for a few seconds after turning the key, and then start blinking normally. If you turn the bike off and on, you have to wait a few seconds again for it to blink normally. Hope this is OK lol
I have the same Ducati but when I changed the blinkers they flash all 4 together ! Any idea why? The ones that are supposed to flash are brighter though.....
@@ducatinyc i put two resistors in parallel to the back lights and they work.... Fast but they do..... Maybe I should put another two resistors in front!!!
@@davidthomas3680 there are lots of utube videos on how to do this. Also diagrams come with some resistor sets sold by bike part suppliers. Just search for "how to add resistors for LED turn signals"
No diodes or LED flasher units? I have issue with this on the 2002 600. Flasher unit emits a solid beep upon engaging the right indicator front burning on solid without blinking rear inactive. Left indicators both work but flash rapidly...
You'll need an electronic flasher-relay. The bi-metal flasher-relay sees an open circuit. (Or place a resistor (8ohm) across the wires on wack indicator). Now - I've had these indicators since 2007. Got 3 bikes with them BRILLIANT!!!! And, Oberon, UK, support their product. Fantastic company.
Hello there! I’m about to buy the same blinkers for my Ducati Monster. I’m just wondering which one you have, there is a 6v and 12v version of these blinkers. So which is best for the Ducati? Thank you!
Hi. From my experience, I've never seen these in 6vdc, just 12vdc. There is a resistor bank across each indicator. They might work on 6vdc, but would probably be dim. That being said. These are really, really nice indicators.... Perhaps the most handsome/proud looking available. You gotta touch/feel/see them... quality
+mitsos_fs my rear light came with a harness with the resistor prebuilt into it. So i'm not sure exactly what kind of resistor it was. www.ducatimonstertailchop.com/ducati-monster-tail-chop-classic/ducati-monster-integrated-tail-light/

Hell yes! If you got any questions, ask away and I hope i can help. Enjoy the bike - they are a treat! I'm glad you found the vid useful.
Great video man. Very clear instructions. 💪
Thanks amigo, can't wait for u to get one :)

Good question. I got a set of resistors for this installation but then after i tried it I didn't need them - not sure why. Not sure why at all.

Hmm that's weird. No, unfortunately i'm not sure :( Must be a short somewhere.

@@hurueli you need one resistor per bulb of the right size.

Thats weird. No issues like that for me at all.

Hmmm, I can not remember which ones I got and I just tried to look up my order and can't find it. Sorry amigo.
Thanks for checking! And keep the videos coming!
For anyone wondering, I checked my motorcycle's manual (Monster S2R 800) and I got the 12v ones and they work great.

Did your kit come with bullet connectors? If not, where did you purchase them? Thanks
Yes it did. It came with them.
vassili1234, I wonder if i need any ressistor to avoid the fast blinking of the LED light?
Nicholas legault I did not need to use resistors. My front signals blink normal and not fast. I had to use resistors for the rear blinkers/light.
vassili1234 thank you! i asked because i just instaled my rear one too and i needed the resistor, so thank again!
Nick Lego no problem. i bought some rizoma resistors and ended up returning them since i didn't use them.

thanks ,nice clear video.
Nice! Glad I could help and thank you for watching!
Hello, could you tell me please where did you buy these turn ligths please? thxs.
It's by company called Oberon - i think i got them at motowheels.com
@@ducatinyc Thank you!
Did you change the relay?????
Nope. Just plugged them in and they worked.
how do you do the rear ones?!
pdog109 I would imagine the same way since the rear blinkers have the same connectors. I have my rear blinkers integrated into my brake light.
Nice indicators, Those connectors are terrible though
I agree. After using some nice plug and play rizomas its hard to go back to this.
awesome sound and focus
Thank you. Those were my nicknames in high school.
Ducati NYC Vlog brillant :D
PS - Liked and Subbed. :)
Thank you and thank you!
Same here, gotta support my fellow NYC RIDERS! “ITS A JUNGLE OUT HERE!”
