Most of the Indian and Pakistani army personnel praise themselves unnecessarily on podcast but this officer is a rare genius who tries to put some knowledge and history
Bijay sir please do one more podcast with Sapru sir. As Sapru sir has a lot of experiences when soldiering was very tough. We would love to hear those experiences. Really very excited to hear from sir.🇮🇳
Sir can u make videos on following topics? 1-Role of IN in 1971 war 2-PNS Ghazi drowning 3- Captain Mahendranath Mulla fight against PNS Submarines 4- How has IN evolved since 1971 5- Comparison of IN, PN and the Chinese Navy.
Time and again what I see , people get fascinated about Special Forces. Most of the folks coming from non military background derive this fascination from movies, the gear they wear and the fact that they are Special in someway. If anyone wants to understand why SF are special, then understand specialization comes from their ability to deal with disruption. When anything and everything around in a operation gets disrupted and then they have to deal and overcome that disruption is what makes them special. If one pays attention into the training SF goes through it’s majorly about dealing with disruption. Starting with disruption of creature comforts to disruption of operational planning… you name it or blame it on Murphy’s law. Dealing with those disruption and along with improvising, then coming out of it successfully is what makes them special.
Sir k motivation se 45km long run complete krne gaye te 35 km complete krke wapis aaye and test kiya mind is what you have in that event keep going and going until it's done and finally done
Creme de la creme is Major Sapru sir. A lion. But his father was an even bigger lion. Trainer of the likes of Prabhakaran, Baloch rebels and Tibetans at Chakrata for Establishment 22.
Loved his books and his interviews are the most interesting...so articulate and the best storyteller he should keep writing and the best person to write a movie script...this should have more views...pls do another video and ask better questions about geo politics, ptsd, experiences, he does ultra marathon runs as well ...thanks for this
sir diabled veterans ke sath thode podcast karo sir injury kaise hui how they overcame tht difficulty of being bed ridden after having such a intense and active life sir bahut sikhne ko milega also love your channel sir
Lt Cmd Bijay sir, please improve your audio quality. In every podcast of yours, the guest's audio is far superior to what is coming through from your mic.
It's so true.... We the present generation can lift kgs, run good after practice but our psychology doesn't change. Today's society makes us soft.. and it's totally not our fault. It's time to focus on our mental ability.
***********Attention Please*************** Major Ramaswamy Parameshwaran PVC is not the gentlemen that Major Sapru was referring to. Because Major Parameshwaran(born on 13 September 1946) was too senior to be his course mate. I am sure that he was referring to this brave officer- Mahavir Chakra (MVC) Awardee: 2nd Lt. Rajeev Sandhu, MVC Gazette Notification: 32 Pres/90,26.1.90 Operation: 1987 Pawan Sri Lanka Date of Award: 19 Jul 1988 Citation: 19 July 1988, Second Lieutenant Rajeev Sandhu was leading a convoy of two vehicles from Madurang Keni Kulam to Mangani in Sri Lanka for collection of dry rations. On the way, his jeep was suddenly fired upon by militants with rockets and AK-47 and 7.62 rifles. He was seriously wounded and a direct hit of a rocket completely mutilated both his legs. Totally crippled and bleeding profusely, he tumbled out of the jeep with his 9 mm carbine and crawled to a fire position. Presuming that everyone in the vehicle had been killed, one of the militants came out of hiding and approached the jeep to pick up weapons and ammunition. But all was not yet for Second Lieutenant Sandhu. Despite the fact that his legs were totally smashed and his body was perforated with bullets, he lifted his carbine with blood soaked hands, sprayed the militant with bullets and killed him. The militant was later found to be Kumaran of the group led by Batticaloa Sector militant leader Karuna. Second Lieutenant Rajeev Sandhu blunted every effort of the militants to come anywhere near his fallen comrades or their weapons. He displayed conspicuous courage and died in keeping with the traditional martial spirit of the Indian Army.
Yes , the ranveers podcast is now not so good , he is asking abt animals and stuff like that, like children's Bijay sirs question and the experience from the sirs is just 🔥
Astounded by the Rai story , he took all the ragada hell of SF probation and thought of it as nothing much, as his aim was para jump which is actually a course in which there isn't any ragada and lot of rest , but in actual jumps pahadis are seen to be a bit hesitant .
12:17 his name is 2nd Lt Rajeev Sandhu from 7 assam who was commissioned on 5th march 1988 from ota chennai . Who recieved MVC not PVC . and it is not major parmeshwaran
Sir i m student persuing neet exam , I want to join the sf just like you did , but I would be joining as a amc doctor . Will I be able to do operations as you did , will I be learning all those skills as a normal sf soldier do …. firing ,unarmed combat ,combat diving etc . I have searched the whole Internet for this ans but didn’t got one . KINDLY ANSWER
Great talk. But if your course mate at IMA is a Param Vir Chakra..(Maj. R: Parameswaram)… how can you A) Forget his name. B) Get his name wrong (Sandhu). No Sandhu was a PVC in Sri Lanka.
