Great job explaining the many overlooked details involved with hiring contract labor. Many of these issues I have learned the hard way. Too bad this video wasn't around when I started my business (sadly, neither was UA-cam). Thank you for sharing.
its great to see how comfortable you are getting infront of the camera. massive difference from the first videos you guys did. it feels like your talking to me now and not to a camera. keep up the great work
Thank you, that means a lot! This was the hardest video I have done by far - I felt so awkward and almost didn’t post! It was so hard just sitting and talking - so your comment is really encouraging!
@@highspeedhustle i think it would have been a mistake not to post it. you seem way more confident infront of the camera in this video compared to past ones. im hoping to start my first company this spring so i got alot of usefull info from this thank you. again both of you keep up the great work.
Thank you so much Liz for this wonderful information. This is my first year of having to file a 1099 for a contracted employee and this was very helpful.
Yep I go through this every year. Several of my commercial customers send me 1099's every year. I was in another line of work for 30 years where I was 1099 every year and also had to pay quarterly estimated tax payments to the KGB excuse me I mean the IRS. lol
I worked for OSHA for over 28 years. While I never onboarded a contractor, I did want to waterboard one a few times! Of course, I'm kidding. I'm enjoying the new direction.
You literally couldn't have explained it any better. But I'm so stupid I still can't figure out. Is there anybody that wants to help a dumb Oregon racer out? 😁
Thanks for the info!

Thanks so much!
HTF is in good hands..the Joiners “got it going on”…
Well done!! I would like to better understand the fine lines established with co-employment laws when a company has 1099 contractors working for them.

In a future video would you be able to explain what a non--employee contractor is and give examples of some of their services?
Yes! I will!
You should attend some regional racing expos and have seminars on these subjects also. Great informative video.
Maybe one day! Thank you!!
