Synopsis:

I salute Prithviraj Chauhan. After 830 years, he finally achieved his revenge by killing Ghori on the same day. Previously, Ghori had died in 1206 AD. Not only this, but there were only 2 battles fought between Prithviraj Chauhan and Muhammad Ghori, known as the Battle of Tarain. However, in the present, he humiliated Ghori by winning 16 battles. I mean, bravo! Salute to both legends (Prithviraj and Bollywood) for making this achievement possible after 830 years.
see we dont know what happened in that time but in multiple texts from different timelines have mentioned that ghori was killed by prithviraj
in some texts it is said that they fought 16 time some texts say 22 times but after the incident other wars were fought bu qutubbudin aibak not ghori.....

As a south indian, i watch bollywood movies in order to make fun of it. Did the same with this movie, but was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. It is not historically accurate, but for its folklore value, i quite liked the overall outcome

Actor should first realize this point that before doing the Historical Character in a movie he should first prepare himself for the role (method Acting)..Any actor doing This type of famous Historical role will first make lessons of hindi speaking, acting skills, way of behaviing.. How director choose Akshay who is famous for his comic role.. Akshay take this role as a joke.. Should learn from other actors who where upto their mark in movies based on real life real life or on historical events they first prepared themselves very well and got so well in their character roles..Director should realize first he should have taken a young Actor playing Prithviraj..Director must have done this movie with Rajput singh. I think Sonu sood will have played best than him..

This role requires a dedicated actor who would put his heart and soul into embracing the character. Akshay seems to lack this trait. This role should have to gone to someone who would put an entire year to understand and develop the character and not just finishing a movie in three months and moving on to the next one.

I miss Rajat Tokas so much after watching this trailer. Even as a kid, he was so convincingly playing the role of Prithviraj, you could feel that this is how the king must actually have been in reality too, Yash raj nowadays is just casting based on who is trending, who is in the news, etc..they aren't giving a shit about talent, project research and appropriate casting..I don't understand, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, single handedly does everything so perfectly when it comes to period films, and YRF, despite of having an armamentarium fail so miserably everytime, especially after demise of Yash Chopra.

The gravitas, the grace, and the ruaab - everything was missing in Akshay. I felt like I am watching Houseful 4's Akshay. Only differences - he got his hair back, and he is trying to be serious. The way Ajay Devgan portrayed Tanhaji, Sharad Kelkar did Shivaji, or Ranveer played Bajirao, Prabhas as Bahubali - that is missing in Akshay. No feelings. At least "Mat chooke Chauhan" should have been added that gives goosebumps even in writing.

Prithviraj is a legend. I personally feel Akshay Kumar didn't look like a warrior in certain way or in any angle. He didn't do justice to play a character of Prithviraj Chauhan. No offense here. It's just my personal opinion. Let's pray that Akshay didn't disappoint us and let's hope he will do justice to this legendary role. Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood are the better choice to play their characters in this film.
