After marrying my husband I started learning about Islam as he made me convert to Islam, I realised that Islam is a beautiful, enriching religion, but soon after few months things changed. My in-laws and my husband changed and became so mean and I kept quoting Islamic verses to them about their behaviour, but this only seemed to aggravate all of them even more. It looks more like Islam teaches us one way of life but some of us mulsims follow something else. It's because of people like this that Muslims everywhere r classified in bad ways. If all Muslims followed the real way, the right path of Allah Thaala, the world would be a better place to live in.

I am a christian by birth until i have grown.I got married to a muslim guy few months ago and as expected i was transformed into Muslim.I had love the religion and the teachings itself as im doing self nourishing but it frustrate me sometimes that my husband who have been a muslim since birth is someone i cannot rely on when it comes to teachings of the Quran.He only knows his right which makes me so sad of this relationship.Honestly i feel sad that i have known islam through him as i cannot see good image of Islam from him but Alhamdulillah Allah made me feel better by sustaining me with courage and patience.Thank you for this helpful videos aswell as im learning alot.

The only part of Islam men following is polygamy marriages nowadays, rest of the Deen don't matter to them!... First, the Qur'an does not give men the blanket right to have more than one wife. Polygamy is not a right, but a responsibility to ensure social justice for orphans. What Allah has granted is in fact a restriction on an existing practice of that time when men could marry as many wives as they wanted.
Second, because polygamy is not a right, Allah placed conditions on its practice. There is an overriding concern for justice in this short verse, and conditions are set to ensure that justice is done.
Condition A: Polygyny is permitted within the context of war and orphans. It is permitted only if the men fear they would not be able to deal justly with the orphans.
Condition B: The man who wants to be polygynous must have the capacity to be fair and just to all his wives. The verse is a call for just conduct towards women, not a right for men to fulfill their alleged lustful desires or their egos. And just treatment here means more than a man's financial capacity to support more than one wife: He must be fair in all ways, including in the time, support, and companionship he provides to his wives and children.
Condition C: If the man fears he cannot deal justly with all his wives, then Allah advocates that he should marry only one as this will ensure equality. This is explicitly stated in the verse.
If we fight with my husband after a few minutes or hours he make me feel okay or his telling me a story about quran or propet after that my heart will be more happy when he telling me about islamic coz he don't want to see me a sad or mad or angry sometimes :( so thanks to allah bcoz he give me a man who teach me to be a good person and also I love him much what ever happened 😭🌿

This feels so personal to me. I feel as if he's talking about my marriage. Husband gives priority to everyone and everything over me and my children. I feel so frustrated I want to leave him.

I'm a Christian American, but this is so true what you say, and a powerful message no matter what religion a person has. I just had a discussion yesterday about not being on the internet too much with my daughter, who likes to talk with her friends from school, and I told her, it's better to have a connection with them in real not over a computer. We are becoming a society of where we are losing our humanity, and addicted to technology, which is why I try to make most of my time every day to spend away from my phone and the internet all together.

If he was after a green card, he could of done that years ago and left me, but we took things very slow, and not just hop into a relationship right away. Thanks for this video sheikh, my husband does all you mentioned, doesn't give attention to me and the kids, on the internet all the time, no time for the family, come home every night , even on weekend, few hours spent with kids, he roar like a lion, he has no compassion and mercy for the kids. He's so mean ,harsh and unjust. He beat kids up at any slight mistake, he beat me too even when I tried to explain his mistake to him. All he wanted his food and sex. He's not loving, no affection, no soul. I work for him like a slave. I just hate him ,everyday I curse the day I met him. Hopefully Allah help me to break off from him soon. 12 years of marriage what a waste

Alhamdulilah, we aren't together anymore. I left 2 years ago and am now back in my country to take care of my sick parents and unfortunately my mother passed away last year. Pls help me make dua for her. I am more than happy to serve my parents with love n happiness than to stay in an abusive relationship that nearly took away my life. Alhamdulilah, he has moved on to marry another woman and I couldn't be happier to learn the news early this year

No one is suppose to interfere in between their matters
If required. Unbiased third person who is not directly emotionally related to the husband and wife should counsel them. And try to know exactly problem is happening.
See we cannot know if the daughter is creating the problem and then son in law is getting agitated because of that. Or son in law is itself a bad person. First try to know what is the reason behind everything. Don't come to any conclusion just by hearing one side story.
And ask Allah in your duas to get everything alright for them. There is nothing powerful then asking dua and praying haajat salat and tahajjud

Not advising you this from Islamic POV but as a wisdom. You cannot fight for something that is not yours, and I am saying this in general, not just his time. It is wrong to spend time elsewhere but with your family but at the same time look at things from his point of view. This could be his immaturity but his act of irresponsibility and rudeness could be because you may appear controlling to him. Think of all relations in your life like a sand in your palm, the harder you make a fist, faster it will escape from your grasp.

Also, I never justified his actions but only asked OP to try to look at things from her husband's prospective. There is always a cause and it's effect. Rather than blaming it all on one party and blindly expecting for a change, it's better to understand the root of problem. If one's husband or father is like that, what is the reason? You cannot confront someone and ask for a reason because that's when people get defensive. If your father spends more time with his friends then probably he wasn't ready to have kids and still wants to have freedom rather than responsibility, but that's not for me to figure out.

irha maryam same here...she played and took her son two years back ...mother has very strongly given rights by Islam but Islam gave preference to wife and husband for each other. If wife refuse to life with mother in law due to her insulting nature. Islam says to husband and a son to manage the responsibilities and manage the seperate places for both.

That is how I grew up....my parents always have and still do choose tv over real family time.....they call family time eating together in front of the TV. Obviously I grew up to choose family over tv.....and I converted to Islam at 17 and had alot of unanswered questions that was probably due to my parents choosing tv Instead of answering me or saying we don't know...alhamdullilah I got islam its a much better life. If you visit the middle east you learn that you don't even need tv to have fun and a real life. You just need others and Allah.
