I would not recommend booking flight tickets with a third party such as Expedia. It would be very difficult and almost impossible to make changes with them. I learned my lesson my our family have to cancel our trip due to lockdown. While the airline would offer refund to those who booked directly with them, Expedia did not follow this practice and was not helpful at all in getting our money back.

I think you can try to split the booking to see if there is a cheaper way. After all, if your plan the trip with 1 single airline then the charge may be more. Hope it can help.

剛剛飛了一轉YYZ→YVR→HKG，之後HKG→ICN→YYZ，可能自己係senior兩程到埗都腳腫了，下次要學吓直航再去台北一轉再返來該會舒服多了，YYZ→YVR差不多5小時，餅仔都無粒吃，由出門口到YVR已經8小時再停2小時再飛14.5小時到酒店共26.5小時，攰到唔識形容。
老實講加航真係比較乞兒啲..野食又唔多價錢又唔係平!用呢個方法直航飛返香港平啲仲可以去多個地方玩!😍

Regarding to the multi sectors, is it allowed to make two stopovers in Hong Kong ?
In the example, I use HK as a hub so it has 2 stopovers in HK. My friend did the same and he has no problem.

I don’t think there is an admin fee for Expedia but every ticket has different cancellation policy, you need to read the details before you confirm.
What if u buy a 1-way trip to HKG, then buy another 1-way trip back to YYZ when already in HK?
