I finally got my 2022 Red Mist HTC on 2/16/2022. With Z51, 2LT, GT2 Seats, Jet Black Interior, Mag Ride, Front Lift, Battery Protection Package, Carbon Flash Painted Mirrors & Spoiler, Tow Hook, “Jake” Contoured Liner Protection Package and “Standard” Wheels. Added ACS “Rock Guards” since the VQK Splash Guards were on constraint. Going on Friday for PPF and Ceramic Coating. Would be nice to be in Florida like you to enjoy driving it, rather than needing until the stones are off the roads here in PA! Nice job with your Vlogs. I’ll be 67 in a few days. Wife still working, otherwise I’d probably be in Florida for the winter.
Congrats on the new ride. You will have a blast with that car. Yes, its great Corvette weather here in Florida. Use to live in New England and do NOT miss the winters and salty roads. Our local Corvette Club has over 60 C8 Owners. Very popular car down here.
Organizations like this are the reason we own Corvettes. There are always a great mixture of individuals that love these cars, like the club shown here. Bob, nice video keep them coming.
Thanks Steve. Our meet and greet is open to everyone. We enjoy meeting others with the same fondness for Corvettes. And meeting other C8 owners we can exchange ideas and suggestions with each other. Someone point out to me where there was a small paint issue and I'm thankful for that so I can see my dealer to get it fixed.
Elkhart blue wins, needs black rims, but what a beauty, but to each their own, I love seeing these older owners getting together, and looking at their beautiful cars, enjoying themselves.
Hey Bob, I did a little binging on your channel today and heard you say you have had 20 Corvettes. I have always felt I was something special with 5. I have learned if you get old enough.. You will most of the time find out you were wrong!.... If you don't mind...Would you share the years? TY
I've had 55 years of Corvette ownership starting in 1966. So, I've owned every generation but the 1st one. The early ones were not so great. I started autox'ing with my 92' and did it for 20+ years. (with a bunch or track days and time trials thrown in for fun). Also I thought it was interesting that I bought my 20th Corvette in the year 2020. The years were: 66, 69, 73, 76, 78 Silver Anniversary, 81, 84, 86, 89, 92, 95, 97, 2000, 2002 Z06, 2006 Z06, 2008 Z06, 2012 Z06, 2015, 2017 Z06, 2020.
Hey Robert Your accent tells me your from the Boston area, if so, where about??? I’m from there myself, now living in NY. Whole family still lives in Beantown. Nice job on the video , my new C8 comes next week, 13+ month wait.
Ya got me Bernie. Grew up South of Boston in a town called Braintree. Moved to Cape Cod at 21 and never left. Retired to Florida. Really enjoying Florida. BUT, your car is a week away. Holy crap that's gotta be exciting. All the best with your new ride. You're gonna love it!!

The only gripe I have with the interior of my C8 is the volume knob. Do not like! If you ever come across a way to improve it with a new one or a cover for it please share it. Wish it were aluminum. That’s my only gripe. Everything else is fantastic
I believe the C8 Corvette is unique in 2 major ways. It's the 1st Corvette with a mid-engine and 1st with a DCT. And that both, together, make it one exciting car to drive.

@@RobertMacCready Hi Robert have you decided on the next meet up?
Don't know what I was thinking. My 2021 is Silver Flare, not Blade Silver. Sid

Lots of interesting combinations.
Nice seeing all the different options!
Yes, it was.
Beautiful cars!
They are!
