Finally. Disney at least released some form of trailer to one of my childhood favorites. Who ever did the editing for this trailer, good for you. Your work on this was brilliant.
Yeah, he's been acting since he was a kid doing toy commercials. He did a few Disney movies as a young adult too. Walt must seen a lot of potential in him given his name was among his deathbed notes.
@@dillbert4084 In fact theirs a urban legend that Walts dying words was Kurk Russell in a disdainful yell, leading pepole to wonder what Kurt did did to Walt.
First time I saw Kurt Russell he was about 11 years old in an episode of The Fugitive playing Philip Gerard Jr the son of the guy chasing The fugitive. ua-cam.com/video/x1eCQnNZTc8/v-deo.html
Nice job on the new trailer!! I wish they would add the sequel , "Now You See Him, Now you Don't" to Disney + because that would make a great trailer too and I can't remember the last time I saw that movie.
I saw this movie when it came out in '69. I lived in Pensacola then, and I almost got run over by a dune buggy out at the beach. Those guys would go flying up one side of the dunes without a care for the possibility that there might be kids playing on the other side. They'd fly over the top and almost land on top of me. They don't allow them anymore. Mainly because they destroy the dunes. I suppose they still allow them in isolated parts of the desert. Like Baja.
That was why i rented it back when i was a punch drunk teen in love with Hayley Mills and classic Disney movies from the late 60s early 70s. And nick at night rerunns like patty duke show and Fernwood tonight; I always loved dune buggies and it had one in the screenshots so I figured, why not? So long ago I couldnt remeber anything about it but that dune buggy. Then i found another one starring Kurt and a monkey or arangatang. Cant remember the name of that one, though.
Did you watch it on Disney+? I had it in my Watchlist, but they deleted this and MANY other old Disney movies. 😡 (This happened to all the European subscribers like me, I think they didn't delete them for the Americans.)
that would not have been a “super“ computer. the concept didn't even exist yet. as large as it was, that would have been a very bog standard computer for 1969
I enjoy the sequence from this film where the professor is explaining the ideas of what a computer can do. Definitely represents the period. He did an example of home automation as I recall.
WHY is this trailer not just in the D+ app?????? Any mover older than 5 years old has no trailer in fact. I come to UA-cam just to see that Disney is redoing trailers but on UA-cam. Plz
Man i have watched him my whole life from this movie fan for life. Goldie Hawn was my favorite female actress Wildcats Sgt Bengermend over board death becomes her all of both your MOVIE'S
Disney, please leave all these movies alone and just replay them. Re-release them into theaters. Anything but "re-imaging them for a modern audience", as no one wants that kind of crap anymore. 🙂
HOW THE HELL DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS?! Especially since it's a YOUNG Kurt!! ! WOWEEEE!!!! Oh.... 😥 It's Disney.... 🤔 🤨 Disney comes from very unethical foundations......
At the last game show, Kurt Russell, his computer-enhanced, mentally cognitive abilities rapidly fading, is asked by the game show host, "What is the capital of Mongolia?" Russell, struggles to stammer out, "Boola Boola", which is accepted as the correct answer. But uh, no. In reality the correct capital of Mongolia is, "Ulaan Bator".
@@thebewitchinghour831 Oh, I was confused, I thought he meant that it was his dad in the movie, and I thought how did he know it was his dad from the trailer? :p I haven't seen the movie, because although Disney+ had added it, and I had it in my Watchlist, they REMOVED it, this and many others of their classic movies (in Europe at least, I don't know about America, I think not). Disgraceful!

All of the Medfield College movies are fun! Great work Disney+.
Wow thank you for this comment. I didn’t know there were sequels
No doubt about that.

These new trailers for classic films are a good idea! The old trailers used to be too long and give too much away.
That's true but they don't do the long trailers anymore.
Nah, new trailer are terrible.
I did not know that Kurt Russell was acting at a young age. I'm definitely watching it now

Disney launched his career

He was in "Follow me boys" in 1966 produced by Walt Disney.

I remember watching this back in the 90's. Was a good movie.
The Dexter Riley trilogy is the best!
I know. 👍
The days when Disney was at the top of its game. Such a great movie. Way ahead of its time.
Kurt has always had that certain charisma about him.
This makes it look like an action movie. Which it is not
0:24 I recognize the guy on the left from Colossus: The Forbin Project.
when I saw this movie as a kid, it showed me a love for dune buggies. Still love them today all these years later.

Just watched it and I loved it!! Seeing a young Kurt Russell was great but loved seeing Cesar Romero.

That's even better than the Matrix! Sure.
Saw this one at the show with my parents in '69, great fun!!
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks again!
So did I. I was seven.

You’re on to something here, I think he might not have really downloaded all that computers data directly into his brain with that electrical shock!
I loved this movie as a kid 😍
Make one for the strongest man in the world. That’s an order.
And Disney is ashamed of The Black Hole
Black hole is a great film

Quello era il ragazzino degli anni 80
? ... was that Kurt's dad shooting at him ... ? 😯
Where?

OMG, that was his dad. Bing Russell in the 'Speed Buggy' / 'Wonderbug' car. I always wanted one of those cars. They were cool.
