I love jazz and its super cool to know what is going on so that I can apply certain things to my own writing. Jazz has opened up a lot of doors for me regarding this and it is super satisfying seeing someone with such a high level of experience pick it up so fast. I realise you were just figuring out the general idea of the chords for the song and how you'd go about it, but some of those didn't sound right to me so I took my time to figure it out in detail, you made a couple mistakes:
