I have the same bike with a Rival 2x, HED Ardennes RA pro, and Shock Stop stem. All Ritchey cockpit. Absolutely love this bike!! Fast on gravel and road. Nice build!!
Nice build, I've got the GRX 1x12 and the eesilk lock out stem on my Ritchey Outback and couldn't be happier. The shifting is crisp and easy with my pinky to a harder gear and the suspension stem is so good even locked out on the road it smooths out the road even more.
I like the way you now enunciate Rev-Endurance sport,in older vids you ran the words together and for a bout a year I could not figure it out,but then again I an an Aussie🙂
As Americans we are known to butcher the English language 😂
Great video George. I love my Outback, Probably the first ride I want to keep forever, others will come and go, but I want my Outback in the stable for life, cheers from Spain.
Boom! Thanks for your testimonial! Cheers from USA 🇺🇸
I run an ee silk seatpost and it's awesome, I bet the stem is the same way. I have to disagree on the larger rotor thing. I think of it as leverage, and the larger rotor has more of it on the wheel. Still, doesn't matter if you can squeeze hard enough to skid the tire. You are right on heat dissipation. Those wtb byways look like perfect MUP/fireroad/gravel do it all tire.
Incorrect on rotor size - it’s all about heat dissipation - unless you’re smarter than the Japanese engineers who created these components.
Lovely build George 😊 very nice.. Pete 🚴🏻👍
Thanks for watching Pete!
Sweet setup. I’m enjoying your videos.

Love Ritchey bikes! George have you done any videos on your tandem?
Hello Len I haven’t done a Bike profile video on my tandem. Unfortunately, the bottom bracket is cracked on it so I really don’t want to do any videos on it.
Asking cause I recently got into riding a tandem with my girlfriend. We both really love it and there’s not a lot of good tandem videos on UA-cam. Do you have a Ritchey tandem?
I have a Pinarello tandem
My Lynskey GR300 won't allow me to use a crankarm power meter ; not enough space between the chainstay and the Utlegra 6800 crankarm. Does the Outback frame look like there's enough room for a Stages power meter? I've been hankering for an Outback ever since they came in quacamole green.....
Yes I’ve used a Stages Gen 1 power meter on my Outback. If you’re interested in purchasing an Outback get in touch with me directly at revcycling@gmail.com it’s a great way to support the channel.
Hi, nice bike. Where can I safely buy XT pedals online? I've seen many fake ones online.
@@juliomorel5516 through me of course silly 😊 I buy direct from Shimano
I just noticed you have them your shop! nice!
contact me directly the website is under construction revcycling@gmail.com
Larger rotor mainly provides more leverage (track is farther away/located longer distance from axle…) , hence better braking. I would stay away from providing scientific conclusion based on your personal experience.
I would stay away from thinking you know what you’re talking about when you don’t. What I said was straight from Shimano’s training on why to use larger rotors. But I guess you’re smarter than the Japanese engineers who created these components. So I guess you better go study up before you keep making a fool of yourself in public.
Oh and by the way if we were to follow your logic about the bigger rotor giving you more leverage then you would have to agree with me that rim brakes are better since according to you “(track is farther away/located longer distance from the axle)”
@@SeeYouUpTheRoad oh come on George, that’s a silly immature comment. Do me a favor and ask your shimano rep if he has any material he can reference on what you stated. Unless there is a legal reason due to marginal performance I don’t think directly Shimano would ever make such claim. Without continuing to debate you on basic physics and mechanics I wish you well.

@@SeeYouUpTheRoad rim brake stop/ slow down directly the rim of the wheel, disc brakes stop/ slow down the hub of the wheel… completely two different systems. This is not about better or worse.
George, off subject comment. I noticed in your videos that you tend to pause briefly or even struggle to come up with the proper words to end your sentences. I used to have the same issue til I got off a certain medication. A certain medication that’s been linked to Alzheimer’s. A bit off subject I know but I’m just giving you a heads up
That's an odd idea, I speak in a similar manner take no medications and I already have oldetimers disease.
@@ellerybice3787 alprazolam or ‘xanax’ has been linked to early Alzheimer’s 🫤
Ha ha, I have about a hundred different diagnoses for George but Alzheimer’s never even crossed my mind 😂
If its not a breakaway yhen it no diff3t3nt then anyother bike
I’ve got Breakaway Outback’s ready to build 😊
