Ah yes, Rainbow Batman. For those who don't know: Dick broke his arm. Bruce didn't want people seeing Robin also had a broken arm and coming to the conclusion that Dick was Robin so, as a distraction, he wore a different color costume every day, culminating in the Rainbow Batsuit.

@@ShackleYT can you elaborate, I first thought you meant an era in history but if you are referring to the silver age of comics then I have even less knowledge. I mostly know Batman through the tv shows: Batman the animated series, Justice League, Justice League Unlimited and Batman Beyond. P.S R.I.P Kevin Conroy.
@@nelleneulmer5385 i do mean the silver age of comics. basically, during that time the comic's code authority were put in charge of making sure that comics werent too adult themed for children, and they had to follow very strict guidelines. This lead to a lot of wacky things happening in said comics to abide by the authority. This is where the famous joker fish comes from, as well as all of batman's wacky costumes.
For the rainbow bat in particular, it was made for a storyline where dick grayson broke his arm, and batman wore those suits to draw attention away from robin, so no one would notice that robin very suddenly has a broken arm at the exact same time that Dick Grayson had.
Fun fact! you can thank the silver age for the creation of batgirl and batwoman, who were made specifically to give batman and robin female love interests, because at the time people thought that bruce wayne was gay for dick grayson. and if you saw some of the panels you could see where they were coming from. and back in those times, being gay was a big no no, so they just straight up made batwoman and batgirl to appease the comic's code authority.
this is especially hilarious, because batwoman is now one of DC's biggest lesbian icons.

They all actually do. Dick (Nightwing) complained in an earlier episode of the series about how his suit smelled like mustard for weeks after his latest run-in.
This wasn't a fair contest. Grayson has too much of an edge in experience for the others to win. On an unrelated note, WHY DOESN'T BRUCE GET RID OF THOSE SUITS?!! He set himself up for that humiliation. 😂😂😂
Because, considering how he makes those suits, it’s probably too much trouble to destroy. And if he could just throw them away, he wouldn’t have them locked up in a Superman-proof closet.

It’s a crime the bat-nipple suits didn’t make an appearance
It did make an apperence on the right from the Adam West suit.
Jokes aside, you got to respect him for sucking up his pride and actually wear the suit for the night instead of just going back to the bat cave to change into the actual spare suit. Shows how willing he is to defend Gotham even at the expense of his dignity.

After recent developments in the comics, the last suit he should have is the Zur-En-Arrh one.
But yeah, this was delightful. I don't often see Kate hang out with the other Bat-family members like this. Including Jason, who, IIRC, once hit in her.

I am pretty sure that Rainbow suit was made when Robin broke his arm it was richard by the way because it was to make sure no one gets suspicioud about why did Richard and Robin break their arms at the exact same time

The suits are to neutralise powers of specific villains.
This chapter proves even further what I stated in my comment under the chapter 11 video.
First, Nightwing was carrying physical scars for 3 weeks and mental scars for even longer after one of their encounters and everyone on the Bat-family wanted to do anything else than fight him and now Batman got hit bt a lot A LOT of condiments and got incapacitated up to the point where he and his dignity were under the mercy of his family.
Condiment King. He truly lives up to the "King" part.
Can I just say it's nice seeing Jason Todd happy with his siblings? Warms my heart.

I love the dub, and one of my favorite chapter of the webcomic (beside the two Redhood-Tim-3Crooks). But I must say, I would have expected some lines to be delivered slower or more spaced between. Also, Jason's line about "forgetting that suit even exist", I don't think he ever heard about that suit canonically. I think the only people in the known of that costume might be Dick, Alfred, a few thugs batman beat up while wearing that costume and, possibly, 1 or 2 GCPD officers.
The line was improvised and since Jason took then to the vault it's safe to assume he did know about the suit
