I love it when you said "we should just call him mashallah" 😂😂 I'm so grateful Alhamdulilah. My husband changes our baby's nappy. He calls himself the changer king 😂😂
I don’t have kids and not planning on it anytime soon. But I’m so here for you guys and this journey. I feel like I’m part of the family. Thank you for sharing with us ❤️ blessings
Everything you said is soooo true! I agree and understand it totally. My husband had to go to work sooner than I wanted and I definitely went through baby blues and possibly a bit of depression as well. Now my daughter is almost two 😍 love every moment with her, good and bad. Still figuring out the parenting stuff though 😄
Manal, those glasses look awesome on you! Remember, never wake the baby! ...even to feed. If Adam is sleeping let him sleep. He’s not going to starve. Lol. I love the idea that you celebrate the fact that he’s healthy. A good poop means a healthy child! The fact that you’re celebrating that is perfect! What you’re communicating is soooo healthy! You will love getting to know Adam - who he is, what he needs, and how he’ll contribute to your lives.
Your child will learn whatever language he hears most often at home so if your speaking english between you and your husband most of the time that is what he will learn.
It's really important to look after your mental and emotional health during pregnancy and the first year of being a new parent. I was a lone parent and had serious sleep deprivation. Honestly thought the cycle of sleep deprivation, changing nappies and feeding would not end. Alhamdulillah ala kulli hal. X
It’s amazing to think about how much one loves and sacrife ones own life to please ones child, and to think that Allah’s love and mercy is far greater than that of a mother.. Subhana’Allah. I even took this video as a form of khutbah, thanks for the honest truth! ✨💕
This brought back so many memories lol. My son is now 8 years old.😁. You two are doing great as parents. There are amazing times ahead too.. May the Almighty protect your family Insha Allah🥰. Love from Cape Town

I swear I love you too much for someone I've never met but may Allah protect you, you have the warmest, most charismatic personality!! Even Amir is so sweet 😭😭 I'll take notes for my food baby 😅
Yes! That maternal adrenaline...it is what keeps you going for the first 6-8 weeks but it wears off and when it does it wears off INSTANTLY with no warning and thats when it gets really hard! I call it the end of the honey moon phase. It happened with a ll 3 of my pregnancies (one was a twin pregnancy) and so I think nature instilled in us this natural adrenaline to get us through those first few weeks (thank goodness) until our bodies heal.
Girl when u said u celebrate ur baby’s poop cus it means they r working I laughed but wallahi my daughter had to be admitted into hospital when she was a week old cus she didn’t poop or pee (due to dehydration) So I totally get that!! Alhamdulillah 🥰
I think your husband felt left out when you said the baby is quiet when you are holding him....I feel it's a natural thing for the baby to have a bond with the mum because she carries it, but for the dad it takes that extra effort to bond with the baby.
@@chinutayok well he's saying it himself and I don't really have to over think or think about it at all it's none of my concern, just pointing out the obvious
Listen lady lol you began your comment with “I think”. Just to clarify, his ‘Left out’ was referring to the fun Adam and I have when he has to go to work. (Also that was his answer to another question..👀.) Just like the left out i have when I have a work meeting and him and Adam chill at home. he has his own type Of bond with his son. Don’t over analyse a situation that ain’t even our situation. ALHAMDULLILAH. #MASHAALLAH
ahahahah i kno when i had my first baby i ws crazy worrisome man it’s crazy me and yu we have similar things i couldn’t rest for a bit i ws always near like a mama bear 🐻 congrats to your beautiful baby may allah protect’s him and yu two always!!
Loved it, thought it was gona be long but it finished so quickly 😍😍😍 masha allah to your new born and your family. May Allah protect you from evil eye ❤️
I'm glad you don't feel exhausted, it's probably because you have your mom and hubby to take turns with you! mashaAllah. I had my baby August of last year, she's almost 1 but she still doesn't sleep through the night without getting up for feeding. My mom is 70 years old and still works full time, so she can't drop everything to be with me and assist with the baby, my mother in law was in and out of the hospital my ENTIRE pregnancy and then she went into the ICU the night I gave birth, so my husband and I were running around like chickens with their heads cut off, both depressed and felt like he were being stretched two different ways. His mom was at a different hospital then I and the day I gave birth I was so tired and in so much pain (not to mention HUNGRY), but he had to leave to be with his mom, I was alone - as a first time mom, anxiety through the roof, learning how to breast feed which HURTS! and feeling just so blue. TBH, it wasn't easy for me, he's also a truck driver so he worked out of the state the whole week, and would come home only on the weekends and would be extremely tired, to then go visit his mom in the hospital, she had many hospital visits after leaving the ICU and major surgery. So I was by myself, breastfeeding, my baby who had gas that would wake her up every time I would put her down, she would only sleep on my chest and she was cluster feeding (if you don't know what that is - learn before you get preggo, that's my best advice!) I would cry alone on the couch b/c I couldn't move, eat, sleep or shower. It was truly a test. Did I mention, my husband and I got pregnant right after we got married, 2 weeks after! So all work no play subhanaAllah! I definitely wish the best for any new moms and moms that are expecting again, motherhood isn't easy but I guess that's why Allah put paradise under our feet. May Allah grant you all goodness, Ameen!
Cherry G. Almost the same thing happened to me with your mum and mum in law. Your husband busy and working. Breastfeeding, no time to shower, toilet, eat, and sleep. We had just moved into a new place. My mum had a chest infection and my mum in law had a shingles virus. My husband was a full-time uni student in his final year. I was breastfeeding- no bottle-feeding- I was an idiot for that. She clusterfeed, HATED the swaddle. I never knew the time, we didn’t have a clock up on the wall & I didn’t wear a watch because I thought it would catch on my baby’s skin as I held her, I didn’t know the next day started. It all felt like a loooong couple of days until she was 8-10weeks old. She slept for solid 6hrs because she accepted the swaddle when she was put in it asleep. Alhamdulillah she is 2.5 years old. I nearly got my body back (it’ll never be the same, but alhamdulillah def esteem is wayyy better than from post-partum).
@@uniquelegance Omg, yes it's a long road to recovery after a baby, and you have more experience than I do but I know what you mean by the days feeling so long, you have no idea what time it is and you just can't do anything without it being a great challenge if you are alone. I'm sorry you went through all of that. I hope you have time to set aside for self care, even if it's just a face mask. Sometimes it's too exhausting to do anything else lol
If all mothers were like manal, the world would be a better place. emotional stability as an adult stems from an amazing childhood (trust me, i HAVE A DEGREE IN IT) and I know you are/will be such a great mother for your child. Anyway this is deep but yeah. May Allah bless your family abundantly

@@aminaosman1490 I don't think that is what Habiba was talking about....it is really normal for men and women to be on the toilet for ages and chill with their phones but if your husband protects his phone and keeps it so close even during prayer I would be a bit worried personally.
One thing I would suggest is to speak one language to him while he is young until he can begin to speak full sentences by himself in that language. He will learn English once he goes to preschool anyway. Speaking more than two languages to a child before they can develop speech often results in speech delays in children. We had this problem with my younger brother because we were speaking to him in English and my parents were speaking to him in Urdu. The same situation occurred with our family friends who were speaking to their child in both Turkish and Urdu. Our pediatrician told us to speak to him in only one language because he will naturally pick up the other language as he grows older. Lots of love!!
Maria Amir I heard from a person who has a masters in child development that it’s totally fine to speak in multiple languages. Yes there might be a speech delay in the early years. But eventually they grow out of it and they will grow up with both languages. Learning multiple languages is not just beautiful but developmentally advantageous. I would just do some research on this, Chinutay.
byagirlnamedmaritza very true. Being a student in psychology myself, I’ve done quiet a lot of research on this as well. It’s best in these cases to way the pros and cons to see what is best. There is no problem in speaking multiple langUages, in fact it’s actually very good for cognitive development, but putting the pressure of three languages on a child from a young age can result in low vocabulary skills in each language in comparison to a child that only speaks one language. And this effects remains throughout the lifetime.
