Of all the musicians encountered in my life...Dusty is the BEST (by a long shot) who isn't a mega superstar: it probably means to me he's been true to his inner voice, shunned commercial bullshit and preferred to live the life of a normal artist as much as he can. His work stays in my head...makes me happy, resonates with nature.
Got caught then lost biking in a heavy sideways downpour around Alford, MA... thunder, lightning, flooding, the whole works... somehow found my way thru to this house in the video where Dusty Wright, true to life, was rocking' on the porch. Or was it a hammock? IDK. I was just thankful to find some shelter like a wet dog to dry. He was welcoming; thought nothing of strangers showing up & hanging out. Rumors abound that the guy transforms his guitar strings for a tnns racquet to play a mean set or two. Sounds scary. And, oh, the blueberry shrubs surrounding the property drop bombs all day long. Eat those & this up.
