"I'm not mad at anyone, I don't come out of the game with personal feelings as much as I think Kass is a moron as much as I think Woo sucks at the game" LMAOOOOO
So devastated Spencer didn't win. Tony was a great player tho, props to him. I'm kind of getting sick of the Jury saying "why did you lie to me?", it's a game; Outwit, Outlast, Outplay.
Bdg1991 I don't think her first move of flipping was bad, but her behaviour and gameplay afterwards was absolutely terrible. She could have made up the votes she lost after the flip, but she didn't. She acted like an asshole to people and thought she could act whatever way she wanted.
MikeD YT would spencer be a hero or villain? Based on this season hero based on the second chance villain. Same for Stephanie LaGrossa is she ever came back but I guess they considered a hero in the original heros vs. villains
Kass is an obvious villain. Kass is a likable villain like Rob or Sandra. Spencer I’d put on hero’s just because he’s a sassy hero or hero but also a villain like Sarah
Yeah Spencer talks a lot of shit about survivor bc he was really young when he played but at the same time i feel like we all know Spencer has something in him to come back to play especially now that he’s older and he’s aggressive it’d be perfect especially for an all star season. I’d personally put Spencer on the heroes tribe and kass on the villain. And i think they’d both own it. Spencer was like a Stephenie LaGrossa in Guatemala when he was in Cambodia and she was put on a heroes team. But if they both are up to it i really can’t see them both denying a HVV second season Bc it would be too iconic to pass up
She's literally female Russell Hantz. Only difference is russell was a great player who dominated samoa and HvV and forever changed the game of survivor and all kass did was flip flop her way to the top 3
@Peter McGill She actually wasn't. Tasha straight up told her that she was probably on the bottom of the 6 during one of their walks. Flipping didn't lose her jury votes. The winner of the game literally constantly flipped. Offending people lost her jury votes
Kass just like Tony said you need to make moves at the right moment. You have a solid six and you just flip. That's six people in the jury not gonna vote for you.
@@kcbi5585 She generally comes off like she doesn't care, but that's just the persona she's used to pulling up. She still has feelings and emotions like everyone else, and I'm sure she definitely felt something from being disliked and ignored.
I mean... When Kass flipped on the Aparri alliance at the merge, the whole Solana was cheering and laughing and thanking Kass for it. Jefra even took Kass hand to thank her. I get that Sarah, Morgan, Jeremiah, Tasha, and Spencer were angry at her at Ponderosa, but I don't now why on earth the others were so pissed to the one who gave them life in the game. Kass is asking how is everybody doing and Jefra is taking selfies. For crying out loud, they were bitter as hell with her for playing an aggressive game. I think she definitely played a better game than Woo and yet if he had taken her to the end everybody would vote for him.
Kass is a Narcissist. She did play a good game but lacking in social interaction. Some will appreciate your gameplay but some won't appreciate if you treat people like shit!
I bet you're the same person calling all Russel hantz fans stupid for not understanding why he didn't win. But when Queen Kass does the same thing all that goes out the window
I think its not about her strategic gameplay. I used to commend her flip flopping and etc... But she os rude and meam wuth that finger to Trish??? That is so uncalled for. When she did thatbin front of the jury I told myself she gettin votes if ever she made it to top 2.
@@chocolatekiss387 I mean the thing that people forget is that Tony kinda got wiped across the floor during his final tribal council. I don't even know for sure he would have won without Spencer telling everyone to vote for him. So Kass saying all the backlash she's getting being because she's a woman is total crap. Plenty of players like Kim Spradlin and Sarah from game changers have played strategically in a more respectable way, and they were praised for it. So Kass is a good character, but full of crap on that one if you ask me
@@willbrock1962 I agree. Kass stating she is gettin blacklash for some 3rd wave feminism point of view was stupid. Though even though Tony was floored during the tribal council I dont think it spemcer speech that makes him win. A lot of players such as Parvatti was wipe and to some extent humiliated in her season but end up winning. Anyway, it was Kass misdemeanor that is the problem.
I had the same reaction as Spencer when i learned Kass is the one who's voted out and not Tony!!!!, i was like Woo you idiot, you could've won, why vote out Kass nobody likes her, he pulled out a Colby Donaldson move, by going against someone who is deserving instead of a guaranteed win, damn good job Tony he really knows people.
Rodger, Nick, and Amber: Hated Tina, liked Colby Keith: Hated Colby, like Tina Alicia and Elisabeth: Like both Tina and Colby. Jerri: Hated both Tina, and Colby. Does it make sense now? Alicia's, Elisabeth's, and Jerri's votes could have gone either way.
SonicLamb I know that, but always take the person who you have a higher chance of beating at jury votes, and both Woo and Colby failed to do that, because if they did they could've been a million dollar richer. Rodger, Nick, Amber, Alicia, Elisabeth and Jerri: hated Keith, does it make sense now?
I wonder if tony ever thanked Spencer after he won the million. Seriously, the jury was as butthurt as Samoa until Spencer jumped in and saved Tony. These people forget that IT'S A GAME!
@@donkeylotion Respecting game is very subjective. Spencer is one of those people who is like "strategy over social" which is why he lost Cambodia. He even was going to win Cagayan strictly cause he was more liked.
The thing that was best in everyone's interest especially Kass and Spence was to get Tony out lol. It was abundantly clear that and then Spence were the biggest threats. And you try to get Tony out first because like Spence said during his exit speech, Woo was Tony's lap dog basically.
Kass was terrible at the game but that just made her and the season more entertaining lol. If she would have taken out Jefra at final 11 then the season probably would have been a pagonging and the final 3 probably would have been the original brains tribe
Disappointed the jury was so bitter towards Kass. It's a game, grow up. Looking forward to see Kass in another season. She shaped this one, for better or for worse and this season was a good one.
Ponderosa is not the game though really, for them. They can ignore Kass as much as they want without damaging their own games. I suspect most of those won't have any contact with Kass at all, so why are they obliged to interact with her at ponderosa?
After that, I'm really really sad that she didn't win that final immunity, that would have been so awesome to see the fireworks between her and Tony at Final Tribal Council!
It would've at least kept up the anticipation for the winner, because both burned bridges. The SECOND Woo chose Tony over Kass, I said "congrats tony on the million dollars".
Kristen Kaufman you have no heart whatsoever... Woo played the biggest game by far in this season, he didn't want kass in the final because the jury was going to crush her and he didn't feel it was the right thing to bring someone who didn't deserve to be in the finals. Also he is a man of his word, he didn't back stab, he was loyal and trustworthy. Someone like you and all those idiots out there have no respect for such a respect move like he did, you can only wish that the jury would of seen that
for you to even say that he played the biggest game is the funniest joke I've ever heard. He was a coat tail rider the ENTIRE 39 days. It's like Spencer said. Tony said jump, Woo said how hi
zprodigalson The only thing Kass got right this season was that Survivor is not a game of loyalty and integrity. The fact that Woo is even putting that into consideration proves how little strategic gameplay he actually had. Sure he didn't backstab, but he also didn't do a whole lot of anything else either.
Matthew Bui This is what's stupid, you guys think you have to play dirty to win. Why not be a fair solid player and win? is that impossible? Heck, all the fans will bitch about how they don't deserve to win cuz they didn't get their hands dirty.
I feel sorry for Kass. She really tried to play a good game but she didn't considered the jury's votes, kind of like Russell Hantz. And that came back and bit her in the ass.. but still, there all were mean. And Spencer is Awesome. I'm GLAD that you fucked Woo in the Jury Speeches, I started hate him just when he stole your idol clue and ran to Tony to tell him.
+PersonaX While I think Kass could be a lot nicer, I think a lot o them (the jury) also confused personal feelings with strategic decisions. Lets say you were trapped on an island with people for so long, and then you're supposed to go to this place that's supposed to be like a constant party where you guys finally talk and relax. How shitty would it feel for everyone to just ignore you. Like not even fight you lol
+Jake Stevens but that's what make a show interesting. had all contestants been nice and pleasant, no one would watch survivor. it's not like tony considered the jury votes either by swearing whoever he could and lying all the time but still a great gameplay. eventually at final tribal, no one cares if ur an angel or the devil, whoever mastermind moves, they win. finest example, Woo. and the fact that even morgan got up and search "spencer's idol" make the show interesting and in suspense.
Elijah Guo Yeah that's why I love survivor haha The blindsides and the betrayals. But I still can't get over that either Russell or Parvati didn't win HvsV.
Oh Trish, can't stand that woman, she can call Kass an agitator all she wants but she was the one who had full scale arguments with other players, with one actually quitting, and from what I hear these arguments went on for many hours.
Kevinn Exactly. Trish and Tony would all out gaslight and bully and belittle people until they broke them, but Kass just cooly smiles at people as she flips on them, oh god what a she devil. Kass is absolutely right, had she been a man she would have been congratulated.
@@mdiddio No, she would not have been congratulated, not by many. Her social game was worse than Russell Hantz's. I'm a man and if I behaved the way she did, I'd expect to be treated like a pariah. She became a diva when Lacina got all the attention. She treated Morgan terribly. Morgan may not have been useful, but she wasn't making things worse, except maybe giving Kass PTSD from when she was an outcast teenage girl. She definitely treated Spencer like when she was on top of the Brains tribe. She tried to blow up Tony's game by saying IN FRONT OF THE ENTIRE TRIBE what Tony told her in private, the same type of thing that got Garrett voted out. She started a fight because she can't actually listen and thought Tony was bad-mouthing her. KASS FLIPPED PEOPLE OFF AFTER VOTING THEM OUT! That's a pure bitch move. Even Hantz didn't do that. And she was extremely arrogant on top of all of that. Claiming she'd be viewed better if she were a man is just a victim card excuse she made for why people hate her. She can't accept the fact that she's just a terrible person and a terrible player because that's what she is. It has nothing to do with her gender. Men can be fighting one minute and then an hour later be drinking together and laughing. See Woo at the finale for an example of how a man behaves when he's beaten. Women tend to be way, way more bitter and vindictive. Kass certainly acted and played like a woman.
I actually root for Spencer this season. He's one of my favorite player to play the game. When he was voted out. I actually rooted for kass or Toni. But not Woo. Come on! Woo never did anything game wise.
It seems like Kass rubbed a lot of people the wrong way on a more personal level than what was shown on the show. None of the jury members said anything nice about her in their live chat and it's been almost a year since filming. I don't think she understood that creating chaos, or her attempt at creating chaos, wasn't always a good thing.
Kass and Tony played similar games, yet people love Tony and hate Kass. What sense does that make? The fact that Kass made it as far as she did despite being so hated, is impressive. She lacked in the social aspect but made up with strategy and strength. People hated her because, like she said, she didn't kiss their asses. She came in and played the way she wanted to play and she was the last woman standing. Kudos to Kass.
She was insulting to people. I like Kass, but I don't agree with her assessment that she is disliked because of her sex. She is disliked because she has a twisted view of herself and survivor. Superb tv-character, average player and strange person =). Hope to see her back another season!
Every one says Tony was actually a really nice guy when he was not scheming and backstabbing. And most understood Tony made his moves for strategic reasons. Kass made emotional moves and pretended it was strategy. She back stabbed the majority alliance (who she was at the top with Spencer and Tasha) just because she was jealous of the attention Sarah was getting. It made no strategic sense and cost her any chance of winning
I disagree with you because Tony and Kass did not play a similar game. Everything that Tony did in this game was strategic and it had a purpose. Tony got rid of LJ because he was likable and close to his other allies, he got rid of Jefra because she was planning on blindsiding him, and he got rid of Trish because she was likable and had friends on the jury. Kass on the other hand took this game way too personal and made emotional decisions. Kass got rid of Sarah because she was getting all of the attention and power and she wanted that, she didn't like Morgan for no valid reason, and she turned on her original alliance for no strategic reason. There were plenty of women on this show who were great players and they were manipulators, conniving and had an excellent strategic game just like Tony such as Kim from survivor One World, Cirie, Parvati, Sandra, and Amanda Kimmel and not many people hated them like they hated Kass. Kass was just an emotional rollercoaster in survivor
I love this contrast. Two players that made big moves. The problem with the "chaos" aspect of Kass's game is she didn't treat people like human beings. "Look at me I'm chaotic" is a great strategy to get you to the end, but it will never get you the win. It lacks respect. I've seen all types of players play aggressive games, strategic games, loyal games, even chaotic games. These are all amazing, but if you lack the social game to compliment your type then YOU WILL LOSE. (unless youre a true sociopath like Brian Heidik; the exception that proves the rule?)
@@themadneuroscientist he made moves at logical and correct moments. Kass made moves when her feelings got hurt and disguised it as "intelligent gameplay". She's a mid-life crisis having, sad human.
She brought it to herself. She is not hated for her strategoc gameplay but for her social interaction like the finger to Trish when she was voted off??? Theres a line between being strategic for the game and just being mean.
@@chocolatekiss387 Can't agree with that more, she was so arrogant and that isn't part of any good strategy. There's no need to rub it in when someone's been voted out. It's as if she thought she could afford to toss away jurors just because she felt like taunting someone who just got sandbagged. Seems like that can only come from arrogance, and anyone that arrogant is very very used to being snubbed by all the burned bridges she leaves in her wake.
@@goondocksaints9597 No no no. There is this beauty of rubbing it in peoples faces. Now you dont school me for how should I react you go your way I go my way. Doesnt make you right dont act like a values education teacher here in social media wont make you special.
@@chocolatekiss387 The finger to trish was because trish yelled at Kass for hours. It might seem like Kass was the aggressor, she wasn't. That was the edit.
I respect Kass much more now than the first time I watched Cagayan. Kass played hard, she didn't necessarily play well, but nonetheless she played kindof like a Cochrane. People were mad because they didn't get a sweet old lady. The first time I ate a red bean pastry by mistake, I was grossed out, because I expected chocolate.
I would LOVE to see both of these guys play again. I thought Kass was extremely entertaining and she played the game for herself. She would have never made it to final three if she never flipped. And spencer's asides are hilarious. This season was one of my favorites for sure!
Everyone who's like "Kass was mean in the game" It's a game. At least she isn't a mean person, and that's what these bitter jurors don't see. They're being flat out rude people to her and don't respect that she was playing the game to win.
How on earth can you know she's not a mean person? That sounds like an opinion but not at all like a fact. What was the strategy behind flipping the finger to ANY of the jurors? If it wasn't done out of pettiness and spite, then what possible strategy could she be using when she did that?
Kass is a terrible person. Survivor isn't some play or movie. You're starving and sleep-deprived. It reveals your character. Nobody can escape who they really are for 39 days without adequate food or rest. The whole "it's just a game" excuse is very tired. Honorable, respectable people don't all of a sudden turn into conniving, manipulative, vindictive, terrible people just because they're playing a game. It's just easier to hide your true nature in real life.
Her and Tony really didn’t go about the same way tho. Tony was just paranoid but he wasn’t mean or spiteful to people. Kass treated everyone like shit after the merge. Even her own alliance members. She pulled the “They hate me cause I’m a woman” card but in reality everyone hates her because she was a bitch to everyone
I agree. And Sara judged her in Cagayan and then flipped so many times in Game changers and betrayed Sierra just to get an advantage. Very graceful, yeah.
Obviously that makes her social game worse than tony. If Tony can do things and people still like him that just shows hes a great player. That's kind of the whole point of the game. Meanwhile Kass does the same thing and people don't. That's on her.
Kass is a legend, these people are no fun. Trish was mad at her for calling her a goat, which she was. Sara was mad because she flipped when she was threatening to flip the whole episode to get her way.
You really saw how much Tony and Spencer respected each other right there in the beginning. They kind of had a humble and well respected rivalry since they hit the merge and Tony was always just one step ahead. But he always talked about the threat that Spencer was in tribals and in confessionals, and Vice Versa with Spencer about Tony. Truly both played a different game both strategically and socially but we’re without a doubt the two most deserving of the win. Hence why Spence made that speech at final tribal.
Season 29 is all newbies but season 30 is all returnes. If that is true I'm willing to bet that that there will be 3 returnes from this season on there (maybe even more since the cast is so loved) depending on the theme certain people have a very chance of returning for Exmaple heroes vs villain 2 Spenser and Tasha return as heroes and Kass and Tony returnes as villain. Other people with high chances of returning are Sarah, LJ, Morgan and J'ita.
Well... it's pretty obvious that the final tribal would have been A HELL OF A LOT BETTER if Kass was there, but also, of the 18 that played: Tony, Kass, Spencer and Tasha will probably be brought back.
This was such a good season. It had so many Survivor legends: Spencer, Tasha, Tony, Kass and Wu. Any of them could have won had it been any other season.
szekesfehervar Ozzy winning would have ruined it because I never want to see somebody who was voted out (let alone twice) win the game. Kass' flip was a dumber flip, but Cochran's was pretty stupid, by flipping he made it so he could never win a jury vote that season had he made it to the end. The Savaii jurors would never vote for him.
Lukas Feuerstein No. Two very different scenarios. As Kass made it to final three, with her flip, and would not have without, she did the right thing. Cochran went out sooner because of his flip than he would have without.
@@mdiddio Lol many years later I see this. Yeah I don't think it's entirely comparable but I think the point still stands. When you flip on your tribe going into the merge you automatically alienate half the jury and it makes it next to impossible to win.
Kass played a good game there was no way she could have made it top 4 with her old alliance so why not try to get the farthest you can? I respect the move she made but everyone was so bitter she had no chance of winning. If she was in the final 2 with woo I would definitely vote for kass
What are you talking about Morgan is such an amazing pillow, I mean player. Wtf was that alliance. Tip next time you make an alliance, respect the people in said alliance.
That last speech by Spencer at the final TC probably changed the minds of the members of the jury except Tasha, that is, forget emotions, it is a game, vote for the best survivor. Spencer was right, Congratulations to Tony! A million dollar mistake by Woo. He said that he would be the stupidest survivor if he ever took Tony to the end and he just proved it. Tony and Kass were such bad characters of the show that made this season the best ever if not top 5. Kass arrival at Ponderosa was the worst ever. Thumbs up CBS and all the cast survivors for a super duper great show ever!
No. Tony wins regardless - with or of without Spencer's speech. In fact, it was patronizing and no one likes to be lectured about whom they should vote for.
i think what jury did was too much. i know Kass was bad in her game, but still at least talk to her. if i were in her place, i would be really hurt myself.
Spencer is one of my favorites from recent seasons! He'll defiantly come back if they do another season with returning players. But if he does, he's gonna have a lot of work to do since he's seen as both a physical threat and a great social player.
Loveher or hate her Kass made this season interesting and her social game may have been a trainwreck, she was an incredible strategical player. Still dont understand all the hate, its a game for a million dollars. If you cant handle the heat thats on you.
"It's Survivor.. I didn't come to make friends. ... I'm pretty sure I didn't make any friends." Lmao I love Kass so much ugh I would love to see her play again
I understand that Spencer was pissed off when he was voted out, i mean he NEVER really got a break at all this season, he was always on the bottom throughout the game, he had a to do a lot of scrambling, win a lot of challenges, he was the only one who really was able to play onto Tony's paranoia, and then to come up 48 hours short of making it to the end. Yeah i understand why he's pissed off, and i would've wanted him to win more than Tony. Tony was my 2nd pick just because of his Immunity Idol finding and his Spy Shack! I'm sure that If Spencer made it to the Final Tribal Council, he would've won in any of the following scenarios Won against Tony 8-1 Vote Won Against Woo 8-1 Vote Won Against Kass In a Unanimous Vote 9-0 I think it's really stupid though that this video contains BOTH Spencer and Kass' Ponderosa interviews in one video, I mean why couldn't they have separate videos for these Ponderosa Interviews!?
8:49- Ok Trish, say that Kass was "mean and vindictive" but do you remember how you were with Lindsey towards the beginning of the game.... Yeah, that's right you were so mean to her that she quit the game.
Ben Carlson Agreed. Trish was a disgusting gaslighting, abusive bully to a lot of people. As was Tony. But sure, these people praise those two sociopaths, while being angry at a woman who gave it back to both of them with just a smirk at times. I lived for watching Kass set Tony off like the corrupt, abusive cop he was with just a smile or quick honest dig on this season. And when she gave Trish the finger, I laughed at Trish's pearl clutching response after all her nastiness to so many people through out.
@@mdiddio If Trish were a man and behaved the same way would you claim that people would congratulate him for behaving like that? Just looking for a pattern among your comments.
Goondock Saints I'm pretty straightforward and logical in all my comments, so I have no idea what you are getting at. I dislike abusive, sociopathic behavior in all people. Equal opportunity. I despise Russell and think he was a terrible player, for example. Also, as its clear you didn't read my comment above, I mention Tony, a man, in the same statement. I think whatever perception you have of my comments may be just a self reflection issue, and have nothing to do with me.
@@mdiddio I really don't buy the "I don't know what you are getting at" bit. If it's truly over your head you aren't as straight forward and logical as you claim. Take a guess what I'm getting at, give it a try.
There's a reason why Kass made it to 3rd place and none of the other women even came close, I can't believe their behavior, gosh Sarah the "Brain Surgeon" couldn't even figure that Tony had an idol.. Kass demonstrates a person who knows exactly who she is and that gives her a true SELF esteem. Once again, well done Kass very well played.
@exa Are you bored? This was eight years ago. It was her only chance. Maybe you should study for something better in life and stop trawling through old survivor comments.
dude... ive watch every single season of survivor with my mom, and ive never see nany of this behind the scenes footage until now! how is this not its own show! i would love for them to air this stuff straight after the episode! ive always wondered what life was like for the jury members after tribal! @CBS air this stuff!
Both great players and characters! I agree with Kass when she said if she was a man she would be respected and loved. I think she's underrated, I was rooting for her.
ryssi ryssi my point was that Sarah’s speech was nearly verbatim of what Kass said and yet people acted like it was something no one has said before. I just found it ironic that Sarah was very anti-Kass and then years later she’s making the same argument Kass was.
That’s why sarah to me is really shady but also a good player. In Cagayan, she was like “fuck kass she’s a liar and a flipper” when kass was like “yeah if i make these moves I’m a bitch bc I’m a woman but if men do it they’re amazing”. Then Sarah came back in game changers and really played a kass-tony game. I imagined she realized the error of her ways and evolved. The difference is the social game. Kass would’ve never won bc she did those moves but she fought and caused so much drama. Sarah was still nice and acted so much in front of everyone. She totally hammed up her morality and social game. When Sarah said that female speech in winners at war, i really think she said it because she knew it’s what everyone around her wanted to hear. Like it was so obvious and cliche but she’s so good at acting that she knew it would work. Same thing when zeke was outed by Varner, and she made that really obvious speech to zeke about loving him and not caring. I really don’t know if she 100% believes the things she says, she just knew that it would look good for her game socially. As well as making the big moves. The difference was that Sarah would flip back and forth in game changers, aligning with a mix of people socially so she could have options. Kass in Cagayan flipped to Tony’s crew, but she was still number 6 then. In a perfect world, Kass would’ve pagonged the Spencer alliance until it was the final 6 where she would’ve been voted out. Her move to flip didn’t get her to the final 3, tony did. If tony didn’t flip flop like Sarah did in game changers, kass would’ve been voted out a lot earlier. But as she went on she kept arguing woth people, and tony realized more and more she should go to the end with him. And voted out others bc Spencer and Tasha kept winning immunities. Kass really had no game if you think about it. and has no argument as she was never going to win with her social game. Sarah did all of that and had the social game which is why she actually won. Except Sarah is shady to me bc i think she’s a little hypocritical and knows what to say even though i think she’s a little fake on if she believes it.
Plenty of other survivors have made the exact same move and no one got as much crap as she did. I’d agree though that gender didn’t really play a part though. It’s her smugness and boasting that made her hated by the jury
I am very happy Kass didn't win, the way she played this game was less than smart and she was just way to emotional for survivor. I'm happy that Tony won even though I preferred to see Spencer win though.
Alexandra L She switched sides at the merge because she was pissed at Sarah for getting all the attention. She may not have showed much emotion but all her moves were based off her emotions, and thats why people hate her
Alexandra L Kass didn't show any emotions in the game but her decisions and choices were based off of her emotions and it wasn't a great strategy. She also was a horrible social game player, she was also rude and disrespectful, mean, and she pushed people away from her. Kass's gameplay was overall awful and not smart.
I started watching a little after midway through the season and got an immediate reaction that tony was the good guy, kass and a few other girls along with spencer were the bad guys, and woo (however you spell it) was kinda good too. Cheered for tony and woo and hated kass, and spencer was ok
Actually the difference is that Tony is just more likeable than Kass. In his being, his nature was better than Kass. He was strategic and cutthroat but u can tell it didnt come from a spiteful element...whereas Kass is more of that...at least how it is being perceived...that's why people wouldn't respect her game even if she made big moves. Spencer said it right...her moves were big but not entirely based purely on strategy so people didn't get it. And Trish was right when she said Kass was an agitator, troublemaker etc. Another thing is that Kass seems to lack more humility and tends to stubbornly only believe in whatever she wants to becos she is 'above' everyone else. I do think Kass isn't really a bad person or anything like that...she is just..kind of unaware of herself and the full social situation. I just get a sense that she suppresses her softer side soooo deep down (probably only reveals it to her husband) due to past experiences or something.
john doe She was not even remotely right. Tony was a nice social guy who separated the game from the real world, and did everything based of of strategy. Kass game was based entirely off her emotions. Most of her moves made no sense. And Cochran was HATED by his tribe mates for pulling the same pointless switch Kass did. Russel (also a guy, who back stabbed like kass) was hated by everyone all three seasons he played and would lose in every final no matter how many times he made it. So don't try that "if she was a guy" bullshit.
I know for a fact that it didn't because in every post game interview, the jury said they had already made up there mind that they where going to vote for Tony. It had about as much impact as David adressing the jury when Boston Rob won. There minds where made up already.
No matter how much things Kass did that I didint like, i would still give her a beer or drink or something. They were so bitter just give her a "hello" for crying out loud!
It was the perfect response to her: she treated them like nothing, garbage. She took away their voice and life in the game. They just responded by not giving voice to her.
People if you were in a game of survivor, trust me! you would be saying more crap about the contestants you played with than Spencer did! I felt he was holding back at how he felt when he said Woo sucked at the game, and a lot of people had more harsh comments for Kass!
Honestly the only people who deserved to be in the final 2 were Spencer and Tony because they were the only two who actually PLAYED the game!!! Why sign up if you're gonna sit back, eat rice and watch Spencer and Tony find idols!? LOL.
For her to say "If I were a man..." is just flat-out untrue. Kass was just plain mean. Yes, she was strategic, but she was also really, really mean. The other Survivors didn't have the luxury of hearing her confessionals yet they were still able to surmise just how mean she was. If a man played the same game, he'd be regarded the same way. Russell Hantz can tell you all about it.
+Buck Hondo exactly!! I couldn't have said it any better myself. There have been plenty of older women who were strong strategic players and walked away with a good rep. kass's age and gender have nothing to do with her being a bitch. its her character that makes her a bitch. she should have stuck with the new Aparri tribe when all 11 merged.
I still contend that if Kass was a man and played the same way, she still wouldn't have won. I see elements of her game in Hantz, Sash & Chase. You can be a woman in this game, made big moves and win at the end.
9:11 Funny thing is that when I re-watched the episode Psychobitch was voted out, I sang exactly the same thing when her torch was snuffed, Kass played a great game and she's not afraid to make game changing moves

He is right about Woo sucking at the game.
BluebomberX3 and he is right about kass has zero chance of winning. Lol. He just survivor super fan

So devastated Spencer didn't win. Tony was a great player tho, props to him. I'm kind of getting sick of the Jury saying "why did you lie to me?", it's a game; Outwit, Outlast, Outplay.
nuggetsww the way you play the game, to a degree, reflects the way you are as a human.
oh fucking please
yeah its a game you can lie , its ok but theres a limit where you wont gain respect for it
Exactly.
* Frenzied * you mean a Repitstion?
I mean they all hate Kass but she made top 3 with a simple vote flip. I think she played a decent game. Not a great game but better than most.
I loved her game play
Bdg1991 I don't think her first move of flipping was bad, but her behaviour and gameplay afterwards was absolutely terrible. She could have made up the votes she lost after the flip, but she didn't. She acted like an asshole to people and thought she could act whatever way she wanted.
She is despicable and have no integrity.
Morgan is useless
Poon King no no no she made a stupid move flipping when she did.. she flipped after the (6) v 5 said they wouldnt vote for you if you flip
If they were to do another heros vs. villains, they should bring Kass and spencer
Spencer would never come back, Survivor really messed him up
Luke627 i just think would be interesting
Yeah Spencer talks a lot of shit about survivor bc he was really young when he played but at the same time i feel like we all know Spencer has something in him to come back to play especially now that he’s older and he’s aggressive it’d be perfect especially for an all star season. I’d personally put Spencer on the heroes tribe and kass on the villain. And i think they’d both own it. Spencer was like a Stephenie LaGrossa in Guatemala when he was in Cambodia and she was put on a heroes team. But if they both are up to it i really can’t see them both denying a HVV second season Bc it would be too iconic to pass up
The quote "I'm not here to make any friends" is where Kass goes wrong. For a part that's exactly what you need to do to get some votes in the end.
Or at least not piss people off
She's literally female Russell Hantz. Only difference is russell was a great player who dominated samoa and HvV and forever changed the game of survivor and all kass did was flip flop her way to the top 3
@@uxwxl3332 lol Kass didn't flip flop cause she flipped once the entire game
@Peter McGill She actually wasn't. Tasha straight up told her that she was probably on the bottom of the 6 during one of their walks. Flipping didn't lose her jury votes. The winner of the game literally constantly flipped. Offending people lost her jury votes
Kass just like Tony said you need to make moves at the right moment. You have a solid six and you just flip. That's six people in the jury not gonna vote for you.
The best weight loss diet is survivor
Or posibility at winning 1 mil
nope. you would gain all that weight back and more very fast.
thisisbmac tony says he can’t get his weight back up even tho he’s tried
That’s 1% of the reason I want to get on

"Cheers, I'm getting drunk" LOL SPENCER
I had the same reaction as Spencer when i learned Kass is the one who's voted out and not Tony!!!!, i was like Woo you idiot, you could've won, why vote out Kass nobody likes her, he pulled out a Colby Donaldson move, by going against someone who is deserving instead of a guaranteed win, damn good job Tony he really knows people.
Go watch the Outback again. Tina wasn't as liked as you think she was. Rodger, Nick, Amber and Jerri hated her.
SonicLamb She was liked enough to win, and Kieth was universally hated by the jury just like Kass, remember always take the goat to the end.
Rodger, Nick, and Amber: Hated Tina, liked Colby
Keith: Hated Colby, like Tina
Alicia and Elisabeth: Like both Tina and Colby.
That wasn't the point I was making though.
I wonder if tony ever thanked Spencer after he won the million. Seriously, the jury was as butthurt as Samoa until Spencer jumped in and saved Tony. These people forget that IT'S A GAME!
Yeah. Its a rare sight of humility from Spencer but it shows how he respects the game
Spencer didn’t change a single vote. In fact, he almost made Kass vote for Woo because he was being so arrogant.
@@donkeylotion Respecting game is very subjective. Spencer is one of those people who is like "strategy over social" which is why he lost Cambodia. He even was going to win Cagayan strictly cause he was more liked.
@@bencarpenter9707 nah he probably changed some votes.
@@sploofmcsterra4786 No he really didn't. He's since said he heavily regrets that speech specifically because it just made him come off as arrogant.
Spencer as soon as he gets off the boat:
*"I'm not mad at Kass but she's a moron-"*
She was. Nobody liked her nobody was going to vote for her.
I like that Kass unapologetically did whatever she felt was in her best interest.
The thing that was best in everyone's interest especially Kass and Spence was to get Tony out lol. It was abundantly clear that and then Spence were the biggest threats. And you try to get Tony out first because like Spence said during his exit speech, Woo was Tony's lap dog basically.
What went wrong with Kass wasn't her strategy it was her social game
Delusional. Her best interest was getting Tony out. Point. Blank. Period.
All the hot girls in Cambodia were friends with her:abi, Kelley, Morgan.
She was rude as hell when she didn't need to be. Just because it's a game doesn't justify being toxic as hell.
She flipped the bird at trish when she got voted out. Was a pure karen move
That's not the game. See: Russel Hantz
PersonaX Agreed. But I did felt sorry for her.
+Jake Stevens : kASS did considered, except they were fucking hypocrite jury
Oh Trish, can't stand that woman, she can call Kass an agitator all she wants but she was the one who had full scale arguments with other players, with one actually quitting, and from what I hear these arguments went on for many hours.
Kevinn Exactly. Trish and Tony would all out gaslight and bully and belittle people until they broke them, but Kass just cooly smiles at people as she flips on them, oh god what a she devil. Kass is absolutely right, had she been a man she would have been congratulated.
Yes, agree with both of you absolutely.
Trish even said something along the lines of "I'm too nice for this game." LOL.
@@encycl07pedia-whatever dude.
Alain Joseph Porio look at Phillip. She was just a bitch to everyone, regardless of gender
Bring Spencer back for another season!
Spencer is an ALL TIME favorite :)
Just admit it. You're smittened by her 'grin'.
Yes, she was very good and strategical to be dragged to the end by people who knew they could beat her...
How is that any different than Tony? Like I really don’t get how people don’t have the same attitude towards Tony, like they handed him the game.
@@themadneuroscientist he made moves at logical and correct moments. Kass made moves when her feelings got hurt and disguised it as "intelligent gameplay". She's a mid-life crisis having, sad human.

@@chocolatekiss387 Can't agree with that more, she was so arrogant and that isn't part of any good strategy. There's no need to rub it in when someone's been voted out. It's as if she thought she could afford to toss away jurors just because she felt like taunting someone who just got sandbagged.
Jesse Magallanes I loved watching her send Tony into his sociopathic tailspins and rages by just smiling at him sometimes. Kass was one of my faves.
4:50 Whooooaaaaahhhh there spencer
I just want to point out that Kass never called Trish names, that's earned my respect.
Yeah she did
She called her a skeletal banshee and a psychotic bitch tf you on about
Everyone who's like "Kass was mean in the game" It's a game.
Hope Spencer will be in another season!:3
Kass: "I put 5 people on the jury"
also Kass: "they blame me?!"
Kass isn't wrong though. She played like Tony, and everyone hated her for it. Crazy
Her moves didn't make sense. She flipped on sarah for no reason for example
She did play like Tony strategically, the things she would say were way ruder than what Tony would though.
I WANT SPENCER TO PLAY AGAIN!!!!
Yep. Most people do. I am sure he'll be back.
yay :D
either he or tasha (or both) =)
i want both :)
They both showed to in challenges, I didn't c that coming. Spencer showed a lot of heart for a skinny kid. Be cool to c them play together
Kass is a Survivor icon. That’s just a fact.
Kass: "I stayed true to who I am"
Kass during the game: *flips as soon as shes not queen of the alliance*
She stayed true to who she is though: a chaotic flipper
She was clearly on the bottom of that alliance and she made the correct move, if she didn’t make that move Sarah or Spencer win the game

No, and yes Kass>Trish
Anyone who doesn't like Kass is a fucking idiot.
Kass is my favourite
Kass a man did play like you in South Pacific (At least as far as his flipping went) His name was Cochran. The jury also hated him in that season.
szekesfehervar Ozzy winning would have ruined it because I never want to see somebody who was voted out (let alone twice) win the game.
10:07 that’s really funny because Sarah ignored her for those reasons and then said that exact thing in Winners at War

I love the points Kass made about being a woman and a mother and the double standards and expectations that come with it in this game.
Holy shit kass is such a badass. Watching this after my 2nd Cagayan watch and I’m like wow
Spencer is one of my favorites from recent seasons! He'll defiantly come back if they do another season with returning players. But if he does, he's gonna have a lot of work to do since he's seen as both a physical threat and a great social player.

I'm sure that If Spencer made it to the Final Tribal Council, he would've won in any of the following scenarios
Won against Tony 8-1 Vote
Won Against Woo 8-1 Vote
Won Against Kass In a Unanimous Vote 9-0
I think it's really stupid though that this video contains BOTH Spencer and Kass' Ponderosa interviews in one video, I mean why couldn't they have separate videos for these Ponderosa Interviews!?
Read my question again and tell me, would you or wouldn't you - it's not that cryptic.
Oh god. What "moves" did Spencer make? He would've been out a lot earlier had Tony not gotten paranoid and started taking out his own players
exactly, spencer used tony's paranoia against him and made him turn on his allies
@@silentassasin-q8l hilarious that the dudes name is Spencer
Aww, i really felt bad for kass being ignored :'(
You wouldn’t if you are the person that kass voted out.
Much love forever Kass!!!
Both great players and characters! I agree with Kass when she said if she was a man she would be respected and loved. I think she's underrated, I was rooting for her.
That's false. Nobody would love a man for doing what Kass did throughout the game.
Russell Hantz.
Please upload Spencer's the day after interview and the jury speaks video!! Unless I'm missing it somewhere?
I couldn't find the jury vid either...
MsMaggyW That's so weird. I wonder why his are the only ones missing. I want to watch them!
bellejolie77 Join the club!
MsMaggyW His "the jury speaks" video is on cbs.com/survivor but still can't find the day after interview. Come on, CBS!
bellejolie77 Aww, how come it's not on UA-cam? Can't watch those videos from Quebec...
I LOVE Kass. I still love her. She’s one of my favorites forever.
You know what’s ironic... Sarah basically said the same thing Kass did about gender bias in the Winners at War tribal on finale night.
iluvjensen1 there is a gender bias in survivor, kass getting hate for her flips was not it
ryssi ryssi my point was that Sarah’s speech was nearly verbatim of what Kass said and yet people acted like it was something no one has said before. I just found it ironic that Sarah was very anti-Kass and then years later she’s making the same argument Kass was.
iluvjensen1 it wasn’t the same argument though is what I was saying. the context behind what Kass did and what Sarah did were completely different
So Kass in her first season is the last member of the Jury
But in her second season she is the first member of the jury !
Incredible!
Kass is perfect
4:58 thanks for that, survivor
LOL YES
Kass, even if a man had done what you did by flipping on their alliance, they would still be hated. In no reality would a 'genius' make that move.
zaacymay Not true.
Plenty of other survivors have made the exact same move and no one got as much crap as she did. I’d agree though that gender didn’t really play a part though. It’s her smugness and boasting that made her hated by the jury
Spencer is absolutely my all time favorite Survivor player
I am very happy Kass didn't win, the way she played this game was less than smart and she was just way to emotional for survivor. I'm happy that Tony won even though I preferred to see Spencer win though.
Alexandra L
She switched sides at the merge because she was pissed at Sarah for getting all the attention.
Spencer has told it at the first merge tribal. "Kass has zero chance of winning the game". Thats really true.
oke00306 Really? Jeff said that Spencer has zero chance too, But Jeff is very wrong.
Kass is my favorite survivor player ever. I would play just like her if I was on the show.
Spencer should play again please
I just get a sense that she suppresses her softer side soooo deep down (probably only reveals it to her husband) due to past experiences or something.
she was kind of right about the men women thing. tony did the same thing as she did and they voted for him to win.
Except his move made sense and was based on strategy.
john doe
She was not even remotely right.
So don't try that "if she was a guy" bullshit.
ben1ben2ben1 he did the same thing those guys did. he only won because spencer brainwashed everyone to vote for him.
ben1ben2ben1 you don't think woo's speech didn't affect the jury's decision?
I know for a fact that it didn't because in every post game interview, the jury said they had already made up there mind that they where going to vote for Tony.
It had about as much impact as David adressing the jury when Boston Rob won. There minds where made up already.
No matter how much things Kass did that I didint like, i would still give her a beer or drink or something. They were so bitter just give her a "hello" for crying out loud!
It was the perfect response to her: she treated them like nothing, garbage. She took away their voice and life in the game. They just responded by not giving voice to her.
Yo Kass, go ask Penner if the Cook Islands cast thinks he is a strategic genius.
Trish singing the wicked witch is dead was the best thing everrrrr!
I hate Skeletor's cheshire cat grin. She's heinous.
Spenc and Tony were great together they were enemies all the time but had respect for each other
Spencer and Kass are like yin and yang when they arrive at ponderosa
Spencer had a hero’s welcome and Kass got ..... well the opposite
Definitely not
9:11 Funny thing is that when I re-watched the episode Psychobitch was voted out, I sang exactly the same thing when her torch was snuffed, Kass played a great game and she's not afraid to make game changing moves
"Great game"
I actually liked Kass for some reason. And I started liking her even more at the end. She was definitely not a goat.
there have been alot of genius male strategists Kass, but i dont remember any that gave the finger to the player voted out...
Well Torah had gone off at her insulting her ap
just rewatched survivor cagayan and I gotta say, I like spencer, but I LOVE KASS
