I really liked this! The characters were really engaging and entertaining to watch. You could relate to them, which is key for writing characters. And though this was not the funniest thing ever, there was still some fantastic comedic material, and you definitely got me a few times. XD
And I'd actually want to watch more because the characters really pull this thing through. The dynamic of the characters is quite excellent, as you really set things up for banter between them.
Pacing was good, voice acting was great, and I also liked how the dialog wasn't mean spirited and felt... real? Like, that's what brothers and sisters would say to each other. And all the characters made cracks at each other but it never felt mean spirited. The humor felt natural I guess. Basically this was all quite refreshing.
I was pretty much engaged and entertained the whole way through.

Damn, the editing is really good. The points for or against (I guess) what it's like in 2016, are dead on.
Was planning on doing a Death Note abridged (which a different title than Abridged) one that puts all 37 episodes into a one shot episode. But, some circumstances prevented me from getting it done before the deadline.

Geometry is actually used a lot in archeology. After all they try to map ancient cities with just a few clues, using triangulation and stuff.

haha great plot :D sometimes i wonder if the whole show is an imagination of me because I never met someone who saw this anime on tv :/ it was indeed like pokemon but I found it more entertaining. Its like powerrangers+pokemon combined.

I used to love watching this show as a kid. I must have been a dumb kid.
I thought this was an interesting abridged episode. And the way you pretty much centered the episode around Lets Plays I thought was an interesting angle to the Abridged genre. I think if you went forward with this as a series you might have a unique angle as far as how you tell the story of the original anime adding humor and having something extra that wasn't apart of the source material. Pretty much giving it your unique flavor.
Pretty much you have whatever the original show was about, add jokes about it and somehow center a different Lets Play Game Around each episode that matches the theme of the episode. Also you could perhaps do a little bit of an in-depth look at the origins of the Lets Play Genre or even the genre of what makes things like Twitch streaming so successful. And incorporate that somehow into the characters within this world.
Random idea I thought of today when I remembered your series from a while back and thought how much I wanted to see a little more. Hope all is well in your current creation endeavors.
