  • 1st time testing Sludgehammers in mud, the EPI clutch kit really helps turn them in 1st gear but second gear is still a little difficult. My cousin is getting a little better and using the Outlander 850 as you can see in the video. Thanks for watching!! Like, Comment and Subscribe!!

      The guy with the can am actually got OL2s for it and it’s been a whole different machine in the mud after that!

      A lot actually! I had 28'' GBC Gators on it last year and I'm turning 30'' Sludgehammers the same if not a little easier then last year!

    We’re did you get diff lock? Or did it come with diff lock originally

    • @grizzlygreg8922

      I split the diff and welded the spider gears…. No turning back if you do that though.. hard as hell to turn but you can go through anything!

    How you like that clutch kit in the big bear? Just picked one up this weekend.

      It definitely helped turn the 30s!!! I had the front diff welded also, it could dig!!! If you do mostly mud riding the heavier springs are a must!

    Im about 2 seconds away from either welding up my shitty visco or spending the cheese on the swift track electric locking front diff. The visco is really pissing me off

    Have you found any secrets to keeping rear brakes on the bear?!?! Mine are useless after the first few holes👎🏼

    • @grizzlygreg8922
      @grizzlygreg8922  6 років тому +1

      So I had the same problem myself, and was almost to the point of just taking them out, but that is your parking break which is nice to have on long hauls. I took everything apart over winter, cleaned, and put it back together. Every gasket or o-ring I ran into I put that gasket maker stuff on. And a lot of it actually. So far I've been on three rides in water and still have rear breaks. Not saying they won't shit out in the next month lol.

      Grizzly Greg ... yeah they suck for sure... I also sealed mine... probably went overboard haha I also welded a wing nut on the drain bolt head and added an o ring behind it in hopes if it does get flooded in the drum I can let it drain and hopefully get brakes back.. still yet to try it out!

    Bet that can am will have water in the diff

      Haha yea probably will, he did the break in oil change today, but I will recommend replacing diff oils in a month or so. I have done everything to mine and if you spend a lot of time in water, a little seems to always sneak in. Just have to stay on top of maintenance.

      Defiantly a risk in it for sure! For me and my group that’s where we get the thrill of riding is making it through the deep mud hole. Some don’t get it, and that’s ok, everyone is different in this world and that’s what keeps this world interesting.
