@@ww2079 Slow down, Mr. butt glazer. This is the PBA50, meaning you have to be at least 50 to be eligible to bowl against these guys like this. Belmo is in his early 40s, Tackett is in his early 30s, Buttruff and Simonsen are still in their late 20s. Why don't you open a fan club for them and not make stupid comments like this kissing their butts like you do. Also, calm down. Geez
Congratulations, Dino. Haven't seen you since I moved from Dallas to Indiana. Thanks for all the work you did on my equipment. Tell Anthony & Sean Lavery-Spahr and Simo I said hello.
I was always curious about Dino Castillo. He'd always be in the top 20, sometimes in the latter half of the top 10 in like 70-80% of all PBA events from like 2002-2016 and he'd be on the exemption list really often. I know he's a bowling coach and has been super involved in the sport for like, ever. Most pros know him closely and fondly. I knew he was good but I'd never see him make telecasts. Shame too cuz he looks good here. Would've liked to see him win titles before he became eligible for the PBA50. He truly has passion for the sport.
Did Castille bowl great? He sure did. But he also got some of the best pin carries I've seen in awhile. All of his high flush shots struck. Even with that extreme power and entry angle, he didn't leave any stone 10 or ring 8's or 9's. He had a couple of shots that almost went into the gutter, but still made it back. Not only did those reach the pocket, but they didn't leave flat 10's, which happens when you go way, way outside and the ball comes back to hit the pocket light. (That's actually how you leave 7-10 splits too.) Also, he stepped up in a couple of big spots and just pulled the ball way left, but he got brooklyn strikes instead of going through the nose for splits. That said, he did throw an awful lot of balls high flush, with lots of power. On this day, it felt like he was going to win no matter what.
I have bowled some of these events. the tour reps or ball reps go around and help their bowlers who have used there equipment. when you don't carry one [in a string] strike you have lost 21 pins in count. if these guys use new balls that hit and carry the strike better you have already lost. 15 games to get to match play x 21 pins is a lot.
All 3 of you guys do a great show. Awesome chemistry. Love it when Dave Smalls is on also.
havent seen ths one before watch recent ones on pba and fox i see alot of comments are new but this is 2022 video
parkers son is amazing btandon and others with the 2 hands brandon uses 1 hand

Seniors....these guys aint old
k... if belmonte and tacket and butteruff and Simonson were in this contest none of these not old guys would have any chance

Dino is awesome!
that ball looks like Styrofoam in dino's hand he must be strong as hell
Yeah, maybe by the time he hits age 70 he will have to dial it back a bit. But right now he's throwing that ball like he's 30 yrs old.
