Now, how do I get rid of it? I never requested or gave permission for it! Everywhere I've googled says to do this, and to do that, and then to delete it! I don't want to delete the conversation... I'm sad enough I can't see some of it!! I know this all sounds overly-dramatic, but I would die if I lost my years of chats with my DEAREST friend (and the only one it's happened to, jeesh) now that Messenger encrypted it without my permission. I just don't understand 🤦🏼‍♀️... This is horrible!! 💔

it worked but it created a new chat room without the previous messages. tho it’s important that my messages are now secured with end to end encryption. thanks!
