    About Capitalism
Henry Rollins traverses 50 states with a politically-themed talk show, culminating with an election-eve performance in Washington D.C. on November 5th. This two-month tour will stop in each state capital -- starting September 6 at Hawaiian Brian's in Honolulu, HI, venturing through places like the Diamond Ball Room in Oklahoma City, T.F. Riggs High School in Pierre, South Dakota and ending up in Washington, D.C., Henry's hometown. Henry's latest tour offers not so much a voting guide, but an unveiling of Henry's very own political viewpoint -- an unflinching quest for truth.
    About Henry Rollins
For better than a quarter century, Henry Rollins has toured the world as a spoken word artist, as frontman for both Rollins Band and Black Flag and -- without a microphone -- as a solitary traveler with insatiable curiosity. When he's not living out of a suitcase, Rollins is constantly at work as an actor, radio DJ, author of more than 20 books, and running his publishing company and record label 2.13.61. Henry currently hosts a weekly radio show on L.A.'s renowned NPR affiliate KCRW, and is a regular contributor to VanityFair.com with his "Straight Talk Espresso" blog.

There used to be geese, or ducks walking around the main yard. I asked, " do any of the prisoners mess with them ", the guard said nope, " it's the closest to pets they have in here " ! If someone was to harm one, he could end up dead, real easy !!! I thought that was cool, and made sense.

Tiny was a real piece of crap, the girl he murdered was was a nice kid, the other low rent thugs that helped him got away. Donald Wyrick always told Tiny he would smile when he went to his death.

Man. Both the prison and the Miller Performing Arts Center within 3 blocks of my work. And I didn't know you were coming. A big regret for me, Mr. Rollins. Keep fighting the good fight.

In the mid-late 80's I lived right across the street from the main prisoner gate. Used to watch it all the time. There were a lot of escapes at that time ! I took a tour back then through there, and unknown to us, it was part of a scared straight program. I was in my mid 20's, and didn't need to be there, but it was cool, and scary at the same time. Smelled like really strong bleach, pine sol, and piss ! I have a tat of the wall, designed by an ex prisoner, while he was in there. That's what they called that prison, " the wall ". My brother was in there a while, as were many old friends. Not the place in Missouri you wanted to do time at. I'm told the worst prisoners were housed there, by ex prisoners. I grew up in jeff city.

The last person Missouri put to death by gas was Lloyd Anderson. He was sentence to death for being the one who shot and killed my Grandmother's 15 year old brother who was a delivery boy for a local drug store in 1961. Lloyd's last words were tell Warren (the states governor) to kiss his a** and that he didn't get a fair trial. I don't believe Lloyd was the one who killed my grandmother's brother. He definitely didn't get a fair trial.

Went there in 2005. Did NOT know it was closed. As we came off Lafayette Street and around the corner there was a huge hole in the wall! Walked in to a construction trailer and woke the guy inside. (sorry!) asked to see the gas chamber (this is before there were tours) he had the guy come down from the Capitol( made it sound like a big deal but the capitol is three blocks away,LOL) Guy comes down opens it up and you freeze when you walk in the building. I lingered at the door of the Chamber for a while then went in and sat in Chair 1 (the one with the headrest) looked up at the mirror and the lady friend at the time thought it would be funny to close and seal the door on me as the guy from the capitol tapped on the window and threw the big red lever. and yes there IS a bang as the tray hits the crocks under the chair. There is a lot of room inside the chamber. I thought it would be more compact. I learned later that the guy that pulled the lever on me was the actual executioner for the State of Missouri. (Yikes) after some conversation, (I worked DOC in MS where WE had a gas chamber as well) I was given one of the crocks from under the chair ( a spare stored in the cell next to the death watch cell) and it sits in my man cave as an ashtray. Engraved on the crock is MISSOURI STATE PRISON GAS CHAMBER CHAIR 2. To my knowledge this is the only chamber in the US that WASNT made by Eaton Metals of Colorado. The delivery system is different than the others have. And oddly enough the metal chair you sit in is somewhat comfortable to sit in. Never mind the fact 40+ men and one woman DIED in that chair. All in all a little paint and clean up and that device would look good as new.

@@67cuda38 i managed to get a pic in the chamber and outside of the wall where the Missouri State Penitentiary sign was, next to the Admin office with the stained glass over the doorway. Thats all gone now. something about old prison structures you know? That And I studied DP for 30+ years got to know a few lever throwers and then went on to work at Parchman MS where we have a Gas Chamber and removed 4 prisoners using it in the late 80's and early 90's. Knew Don Cabana (who worked at Jeff City) Bill Armontrout and still maintain contact with Fred Leucheter who came down to retrofit the chamber for the lethal injection of Tiny Mercer.

Dear friend, the "Good News" is the Gospel of Jesus Christ which is, "Christ died for our sins; He was buried, and He rose again the third day according to the scriptures." (1st Corinthians 15: 3-4)
The "Good News" of Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life to salvation. Confess that you are a sinner in need of our Savior. Receive the truth of Jesus Christ and believe Him this very moment.
Precious believer, may Father God our Creator, through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and the Holy Spirit bless you and keep you abundantly now and forever! Amen! 🙏❤️
