About Finding Neverland:
Following the dismal reception of his latest play, Little Mary, J.M. Barrie (Johnny Depp) meets widowed Sylvia (Kate Winslet) and her four young sons in Kensington Gardens. He proves to be a great playmate and surrogate father figure for the boys, and their imaginative antics inspire him to write a play about boys who do not want to grow up. Barrie’s producer skeptically agrees to mount Peter Pan despite his belief it holds no appeal for upper-class theatergoers. Barrie places children from a nearby orphanage in the audience for the opening night show and the adults present react to their infectious delight with an appreciation of their own. The play proves to be a huge success.

Johnny Depp was so impressed with the performance of Freddie Highmore during filming that when Depp was cast for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005), he specifically requested Highmore to play the title character of Charlie.
Whenever I open up my bedroom door, I’m like Johnny Depp on the right walking into a world of his own.
This is one of the very good films of cinema today. A classic master with the master of acting Johnny Depp and the great cast of actors.

Beautiful film.... loved, loved, loved it! I started crying when Peter Davies said in response to a person at the play, "But, I'm not Peter Pan, he is." (James Barre aka Johnny Depp)....and cried until the end of this magical, lovely film. Depp is an amazing actor...he touches our soul.

Yeah, the bell shining is supposed to be tinker bell, i think. i also like when none of the boys will go to bed, and Johnny (in his imagination) sees them flying out the window, off to Neverland. Really wonderful movie.
Finding neverland is mabye one of the best movies who has been made for a long time.In many years has the story of Peter Pan be made to ballets,musical and movies.And that is very nice because then could the new generations be familiar with James Matthew Barries novel.

This film was phenomenal. Freddie Highmore was amazing. All the actors are top tier. Story superb. Cinematography and score fantastic..
