This App may be good for stand alone site / house in BBMP Area and not for Flats or group housing multi storey building. You have to feed only site number with that site boundaries. There is no provision for filling your Flat No. As a result you try hundred times, system keep showing errors and will never respond. Yes the site does not work properly. Same search gave inconsistent results: sometimes gives form 17 (no documents), sometimes form 16(no transaction), sometimes form 22( application form). Wasted many hours, no use. Just will go to SRO and apply to get EC. If there was no portal, could have gone directly to SRO. Without proper testing if they launch portal like this, public will waste lot of time. Read news that crores have been spent to develop this portal by TCS/HCL/C-DAC

After you apply for EC you cannot download the digitally signed copy immediately. You only get a temporary copy for information purposes. There is a manual process of approval which can take a day or so. Till then the status of your Application will be submitted. You get SMSes when it is picked up for approval and finally approved and signed. You can again login after that and download the EC. I wish the website provided this information to reduce the pain I faced understanding it 😄

It is extremely challenging and difficult to deal with most govt. portal / websites. It is, as if, these things are made challenging on purpose so that we visit the office and pay them bribe. Anyhow, today afternoon, after a lot of efforts, I too submitted request for EC online by paying INR140. In the evening I got a message stating report is ready. When I logged in to check, there was no option yet to DOWNLOAD anything. I then called Kaveri helpdesk number and they asked me to wait for 3 to 7 days.
It's next to impossible to download the EC from kaveri online; majority of times the website will be under maintenance and other times payment gateway will not respond to make payment; I have been trying to download EC from past three days but no luck.
I am receiving message as Alert Error in saving application details. So much time I spend but not getting EC. I am unable to find whic I enterd wrong information . anybody can explain...
