    I have a lot of respect for Jay Campbell but I get the sense that if new science refuted what his book may say he isn’t willing to consider it or change his position. The thing about Science is that it evolves with new data. We are continually learning. Every single days studies are occurring. Also one study isn’t a hole in one. It takes many studies that are able to reproduce similar results that truly matter.
    HRT has helped me immensely and I owe it to people like Jay that have people this info out. I just think it’s necessary to be open to change. Plus we shouldn’t demonize regular doctors or medical experts that don’t see things our way. They are just taught or not taught a certain fact. It doesn’t make them sub human.

Glad for every help I can get.

      Yes you can discontinue testosterone. People come off TRT when trying for kids. I just don't see why you would want to come off. You lucky really Dr's just shot antidepressants at me for years. Doesn't make sense for low t. Good luck Hope you feel better . You should do TRT better than antidepressants or anxiety medication. I would give it more than 3 months make sure right dose. Try B12 injection that can help as well.

    Hello Ben I need to get my total testosterone levels within 700 to 800. My Dr. just finally allowed me to go from 200mg every 2 weeks to 2x divided dosages per week. • @chironow3446
      @chironow3446 5 років тому +2

      Jay,
      That's too high. Find another doctor. You should always start low. Some of the best docs are starting people as low as 50 or 60 total per week.
      I wouldn't do over 80-100 mg per week for 6 weeks then re check.
      The guesstimate is total weekly mgx8= TT

Just got a new Dr that immediately told me to drop to daily dosages of 7mg subconsciously, or as I opted for convenience. 25mg 2x a week subconsciously. I can't stress to people reading this that starting high and tapering down is an awful experiance. Do you have an idea of roughly what 50mg a week can provide high low total Testosterone wise? I seriously couldn't believe my numbers were so high at 100mg a week. I want to try to be between 600 and 800 total T. Then find my sweet spot.

Didn't matter how much I worked out. I had a brief stint at age 24-25 where I did get somewhat lean; but I was ridiculously busy to the point of absolute exhaustion and living on 8+ cups / coffee a day and eating about half of my food strait from a garden that I worked in 3 hours a day ;7days a week. It was not a sustainable work out load with a full time job and I probably still had a total T of 450 at that age.....which is not great for a man at age 24. And I still probably had a BMI of 18 at my absolute lowest fat level in my life.

    I'm glad I watched this. I am going in for my first round of TRT next week. I'm going to do the pellet injection (BioTE program). The doctor did, in fact, mention an estrogen blocker as simply part of the protocol. The labs are done through Labcorp so obviously, they are setting the "standard range" for estrogen upon which the doctor is most likely just blindly following as the standard protocol. I will opt to not use any estrogen blockers and monitor how I'm feeling. I work out daily both resistance and cardio. I eat correctly. My current level of testosterone is 375 at age 47. My TRT doc tells me she wants me at between 900 and 1200. I found this video quite informative. As a bodybuilder, I am interested in the correct way to train and I'll take a look at your other videos to see if I can gain more insight into that area as well. Great channel. Sub'd.

Another thing slightly elevated Hematocrit and RBC with no symptoms (shortness of breath, increased Blood pressure) is not a reason to go donate blood. I mean People living in high altitude cites tend to have higher then normal RBC, Hematocrit and aren’t running to donate blood and arent at higher risk of clot or stroke. Patients with COPD or other lung diseases usually have high hematocrit RBC and are never told to go donate blood.

I think this is sort of a tipping point in health where when fat gets that high... You get a positive feedback loop that does very negative things.... And there's almost no limit to how fat you can become after that point...
