Definitely agree with you about the camerawork and the focus of the choreo towards it. I know kpop artists have always been able to find the camera in recording and on stage, especially with fancams being so popular. But (and I may be imagining this) I feel like it got even more popular after the plague hit and people weren't able to see the artists live on a stage for a long time. This was released in 2021 and if I remember right they didn't promote to a live audience then. It meant they had a lot more opportunity to focus exactly where they wanted to, position the cameras where they wanted, even for "live stage shows", because the audience was still through a screen. I remember it only really hitting me when I was watching Road to Kingdom, the show that The Boyz won in 2020. Pandemic in full swing, so no audience. All the groups were putting on these huge productions you'd normally see on an award show, but it was all through the camera lens for the audience. It was even talked about on the show how well The Boyz were using the cameras to the best effect, and the other groups started to really focus on that too as the realised the importance of not just what they were filming but how they filmed it. It was the same with the sequel Kingdom: Legendary War. The camera work was amazing to me, an idiot who doesn't know cameras.
You should check out some studio choom performances especially with Carter to appreciate the camera work. I really enjoy their artist of the month series
