Subducting for maximum occupancy of the existing ducts

    (For a total confusion it also goes under subducting…)
    Bundles of small ducts can be installed in larger protective ducts. Often this technique is being used when a duct has been installed in the ground already. (often a Ø40 or Ø50). Sometimes this duct can be used to avoid a new trench to be deployed. No dig installation so to say.
    The relining can be done by jetting for example. Another option is pulling by winch. This video will show a operator that takes it to the max. In this particular project the subducts are installed by pulling with winch.
    Feeding 8 subducts into a Ø50. Normally 7 subducts would be the norm, but the extra subducts is a business case as it is giving the operator the opportunity to lease this extra capacity out. Small extra cost now, but an valuable asset later.
