Whitney can dish it but she can’t take it. She can say all these sly remarks about other people/couples and laugh the loudest at someone, but when it’s flipped back at her, it would be problem. If another islander did the things she did, they would be voted out. But people go through mental gymnastics to justify Whitney doing it because they think she’s real/funny. Not to mention, her referring to her opinion as a fact is arrogant and you can tell that the public vote has got to her head. Ella reaction to being called selfish is understandable but it doesn’t mean Whitney not her friend or never liked her. We all have flaws and faults, our friends will tell us in private where we fall short at certain moments but that doesn’t mean they’re not your friend or dislike you. Whitney probably seen the selfish tendencies in Ella but I bet if that situation didn’t happen whitney would have told her in private and it probably wouldn’t of even been aired. Producers know that Whitney calling Ella selfish comes from everything by that happened from the challenges and shower situation. After a real conversation where they’ve calmed down and had some time a part, they’ll be right right back and this will make their friendship stronger. In the real world they wouldn’t give it this much energy or care. Look what happened when Jess was crying after Catherine and Whitney were being honest friends to her.
