Why don't you like crit and crit bonus damage? Several of the arcane rift upgrades had a crit component as well. You could have oblivioned the def and parry as well
I do, but for this build I wanted to get the explosion to be as big as possible and the traits with crit reduce the area size, so I decided not to get those and only take the basic crit traits.
In this run, there was no reason but I find that blitz is nice for agony since DPS is weighted heavily for agony gain and it gets a homing upgrade and shockwave aoe which can all stack elec. dot really effectively.
Kugelblitz can do absolutely monster AOE and DOT damage if you build around it properly, but that makes it a waste of an ability slot the rest of the time. Even when it's built around it's not one of the best abilities in the game, but it's far from being the worst. Because it does a lot of DOT damage it's also not great for agony 5 runs, but it's solid enough that you can clear levels with it as your only ability.

i did 150m damage level 140 cleric only agony 4.85, nice vid. can i ask why you go kugelblitz? i find its the worst ability in the game

how do you not die to ranged BS?
this level isn't nearly as bad as frozen caverns for ranged BS, also I had decent defense from traits/blessings - bulwark trait is really good
Arcane rift wandering and Flame strike will win it easy. I can only finish Frozen cavern in Agony IV.
