BOMBAY ICE HALWA :
Bombay ice halwa is also known as Mumbai halwa, Mahim halwa or paper halwa. The thin paper melt-in-mouth . Ice halwa with crunchy nuts dressing is perfect to whet your sweet tooth this Season.
There is different ways to make Ice halwa. Some people make with all purpose flour while some with cornflour. Along with this some use clarified butter while some use vegetable oil..
But if you want to achieve same result as like market one then use vegetable oil..and try simple steps mentioned in this recipe to achieve good results.
Ingredients:
All purpose flour | 80 gm or (1/2 cup)
Vegetable oil | 90 gm or (1/2 cup )
Sugar | 200 gm or (1&1/2 cup)
Milk | 125 ml or (1/2 cup )
cardamom powder | 1/4 tsp
Gel food colour | 2-3 drops
Chopped Almonds and Pistachios| 1tbsp ( for garnishing)
