    These are excellent tutorials, Thank-you. I hope you will consider doing one on zero planes. I have tried many times to figure that out, but still fail.

    At 2:39, how did you bring up the properties menu for add etc?

      Right click once the components are selected.

    I downloaded the trial version of Aspire. My preferred method of learning is to apply what I hear. Unfortunately, The trial version doesn't include the complete library of clipart; such as the water. I get the point though. Thanks for the easy, clear method of instruction. It's great!

    Thank you! Excellent video and your graphics for Fade and Tilt cleared my understanding after getting confused watching the Vectric tutorials. I did run into the problem with overall model thickness once tilted. I am working with VCarve Desktop and do not have the "Replace Below Option" you addressed at about 12:10. Is there a workaround using level clipping or another option that I do have but do not yet fully understand; "Slice Visible Model into Individual Component Slices?"

    Did you ever do the lesson on the zero plane? I was looking for it in your playlist, didn't see it. May be labeled differently.

    I have had other tutorials that discusses building from bottom to top, etc. but that whole methodology is still confusing, which comes first the chicken or the egg. I am hoping this will become clearer as I journey through your lessons - it seems to be critical to understand the concepts of ordering the components. I also noticed in your livestream earlier on making badges that you kept coping components, then turning off the original one, will need to get this understood better. So now I am powering through the videos that lead up to that live stream. Thank you for your tutorials.

      Just think thru it, you can't have a chicken egg without the chicken.

    I’m trying really hard to not get worked up about the trailing”h” at the d of height. 😢

  • @joem2209
    @joem2209 3 роки тому

    Mark, since the Gap Below Model was set to 0.35”. Why did the outside rope carve all the way to the bottom of the material? You would think that is base height is 0.35” then nothing will be carved below that. Thanks again.

    I am trying to make a 3/4" dia. X .375 high half ball job size 4" w X 9" h X .75 thick the half ball base at bottom of .75 thickness. I end up above or below bottom of the job. Used 90 degree and varied base height. My goal is a half ball with these sizes that I would then glue onto face of a small PaddleBall paddle to simulate a ball being hit. Ultimately making a small PaddleBall paddle as a Trophy.
