Thank you for your testimony! I have had a similar experience of learning other denominations. But I prayed and desired a Bible based church, so I came out of them. Indeed that babbling (tongues) is hypnosis, the enemy wants us to be deceived. Observe, it is often frowned upon when you do not partake in it. A pastor told me I didn't have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit because I didn't do it at prayer meeting one evening. God never once asked us to lose control of ourselves, be sober , be vigilant! I have observed that when they want large funds from the congregation they would start a nice praise and worship and usually repetitive songs that would lead you into a trans and begin to babble and people would begin to give large sums of money. Giving in itself is not bad, but giving so the leaders could live lavish luxurious lives while brethren suffer is a lie from hell. Prosperity gimmicks and false teachings will lead many astray, but desire Truth and you will be set free! Jesus is our example, humble, holiness, just, peculiar, loving and Self sacrificing. Follow Him only and you will never be deceived or lead astray!

I recommend you look at Celestial The Master's Voice prophecies on clarification of the deeper spiritual aspect of our faith and what is happening and will happen to calminate to the second coming of our Lord.
