I’m a physician here in Atlanta. She is correct that some doctors do start out earning six figure salaries that exceed $500,000.00 when they start. However she is referring to doctors who are very specialized such as surgeons, cardiologist, etc. A lot of those doctors will find their mates in medical school. They also gravitate towards women who are much younger, prettier, and submissive. She seems overly focused on income. I earn $350,000.00 a year, and I work full-time at Emory University Hospital. I tend not to date female physicians because they tend to look down on men in general, and their expectations are way to high.

But on a personal note I dated one for several years - she only started making real money to payoff her debt and live a decent life after hooking up with a hospital that sent clients to her private practice-you have to market yourself like any other profession - some of them try to work multiple hospitals. I'm in finance and the same holds true in my field - I made 120k as a first year analysts in wealth management back in the days. I didn't see 300k with bonus until years later. The best thing that happened to me was the firm I was working for paid my grad school tuition as long as I maintained a B or better in my classes.

Residents pay is public knowledge and MAX she’s making 80k (and that’d be in like California due to high cost of living). But it’s usually 45-60k. Also psychiatrist DONT make 500k. Usually 200 to 300k

But on a personal note I dated one for several years - she only started making real money to payoff her debt and live a decent life after hooking up with a hospital that sent clients to her private practice-you have to market yourself like any other profession - some of them try to work multiple hospitals. I'm in finance and the same holds true in my field - I made 120k as a first year analysts in wealth management back in the days. I didn't see 300k with bonus until years later. The best thing that happened to me was the firm I was working for paid my grad school tuition as long as I maintained a B or better in my classes.
