God bless Brett. I have NOTHING but admiration for him. A voice simply isn't replaceable like a guitar or drums. That people could hold anything against him is the tragedy. I have lost my voice several times from singing, sometimes for months, it is NOT FUN and you cant "sing your way" back to it!!! Give yourself enough of a break Brett and do it when you can man!
Might have been an off day. Saw them last night in Poughkeepsie, and he hit everything. He was straining by the end of the show, but still pulled it off.
Remember being at this show...was smashed by one of the pillars way out by the back door. They were only supposed to have about 600...they had easily a thousand. Less than 20 seconds into the first song of the show the barricade in front of the stage collapsed because they dramatically overbooked. That's why there was extra security when you saw the shots from the stage...it wasn't because of crowd surfing (which wasn't allowed), but rather to make sure it didn't fall over again.
what???...he´s amazing and he never left fuel because of his voice just carl didn´t give the oportunity to brett to write his own songs..this was the problem , there was problems inside fuel , not was ´cause of his voice , "the problem" he had is now solved and he is singing very well , i´m peruvian and i will see him in my country in about two weeks with the riders..."the doors", people is happy with that ...regards....viva fuel carajo!!!!
I'd be overjoyed if there was a reunion. Fuel just isn't the same without Brett. Toryn is great also, but he never could he bring the power Brett did. Fuel is life
Brett has been back since like 2010. The newer Fuel music isn't the same though as Carl Bell is no longer in the band. Carl Bell used to do all the songwriting. Now that Brett is doing the songwriting it's much different and the songs aren't very good imo. Fuel is Brett AND Carl.
they did a concert in indy for the super bowl and he was singing some of the older ones like this and you could see him getting pissed cause he didnt hit the vocal note he wanted. sad to see
