A collection of footage I've gathered over the last year of East Midlands Trains HST's. These Paxman VP185 engines are some of the best sounding trains still in regular operation in the UK. So thought I'd make a video just of them for you. Filmed at various locations on both the Midland Mainline and the East Coast Mainline.
Currently East Midlands Trains use HST's hourly between London St. Pancras and Nottingham departing London at XX:15 and Nottingham at XX:32 MON-SAT. With several other services at Peak times to Derby, Corby and Leeds.
Also Virgin Trains East Coast use some East Midlands power cars on some of their services to/from London King's Cross, hence the appearances up and down the East Coast Mainline at times as well.
