I play Merc TDM often and the game really isn't as bad as some people make it out to be, its only in Ground war that the assholes come out with the tubes.
To be honest, I never see this type of shit in Modern Warfare 2 when I play, then again, I stay off of domination because it just begs for camping playstyle and as a slayer, that's not my game, same with CTF. I usually stick to Free For All and Team Deathmatch in MW2 and usually don't have a problem. . .of course, your not gonna get nukes easy in game modes like that, but I don't really care to try for nukes, normal game winning kills is more fun to me anyway.

I liked WaW's maps a lot. But the problem I had with it is that it did not feel authentic at all. Instead of most soldiers using bolt action irons like they did in WW2, Treyarch overpowered the SMGs so much that you kind of had to play a headless chicken rush-class in order to be competitive. Don't get me wrong, I tried to make them work. My main weapon was the Arisaka, but it's just ridiculous that the MP40 was a 2 shot kill without stopping power and the bolt actions were a 2 shot kill with stopping power (when they had jugg, which was always). Also, what they did to the M1 Garand was criminal.
Natsu I agree with u for the most part about WaW, it had great maps but the weapon balance was atrocious. I used bolts almost all the time but the SMG's were all just way too powerful and easy to use. I also found it odd that the M1 Garand was a 1 shot kill when it had a scope but was otherwise fairly useless. Tanks were also an unnecessary pain in the ass. Still, WaW and Cod4 are my favorite ones to date, with MW2 as a close third.
Can any Aussie or New Zealand viewers please play some mw2. For the last few months I've only been able to get into TDM and FFA matches that have good connections. Every time it play other game modes like SND or domination I get 2 or 1 bars. Not sure if anyone else is getting this problem but I'm really getting bored of TDM and FFA
After years of not getting a NUKE in mw2 I actually got 3 today :-D the amount of noobs on ps3 playing ground war is ridiculous. Only problem is the steady aim hackers that's mostly it. The noob tubes and commando lunge makes the game annoying and fun at the same time.
MW2 was simultaneously the best and worst COD. It could be so much fun and they had some great ideas, countered by some of the stupidest crap ever in online multiplayer.
The few times I was in a MW2 lobby with a bunch of guys that just wanted to play the game and not 360 no scope me, or noob tube me or commando lunge me it was a blast! The MP40 was glitched on consoles, it did more damage than intended. It's not that way on PC.
