- I am fascinated with Bronze Age civilizations, and this time I will be interpreting a hat inspired by grave finds of the Lüneburg group in modern day Germany. This is a really fun project!

Fun historical hats are my weakness. I have at least 5 over several eras that I want to make. This hat is spectacular and I am so happy I caught this video before it got buried in my notifications.
Yay!! Very much encouraging your 5+ hats to come!
WOW. You did a great job with your interpretation of the hat/headdress.
Thank you so much 😀
So, did you wear it grocery shopping? I find people are really intrigued in WalMart when you history bound, or wear Wizard robes.
I am from Northern or as the map you showed the Nordic Region of Germany
And I have been looking for more info about traditional Garments ever since i stumbled upon it earlier
UA-cam is such a cool platform to connect with other folks who are interested in experimental archeology 💚
I just saw a picture of a couple wearing the traditional lace caps from Schwalm and the woman's cap looks very much like your interpretation.
The flaps and the wire beads are so fun indeed
Makes me want to get crafting too
All the blessings to you ✨
Those Spirals inspire me to make a bronze-futuristic glowing headpiece.
Wow that sounds super cool!!!
It was INSANELY AWESOME!! It looked incredible with your ensemble ❤❤❤
Thank you so much! It was great to finally meet you in person, and I hope to see you more!

just found your channel, your vids are so awesome!
Love it!
Hey! Hey! I have a very burning question! I’m trying to attempt a Bronze Age queen for Halloween (and basically my first attempt at historical reenactment), and I need to know some very important details! Like for example:
1. Was silk available for trade to the British/Scottish continent at that point?
2. What kind of precious stones did they use for royal jewelry? Would native seashells also be an option?
3. Given what plant, mineral, or animal based dyestuffs would available at that time, how vibrant could colors be?
4. Footwear?
Anything helps, and I really wanna get this right! ❤️🥹
Also was makeup possible, or was that just a Mediterranean thing..? 😅
i love it!! that gorgeous red wool! and your decorations are [chef's kiss]!! love all the looks you can make with it.
Thank you so much!
Großartig ! wirklich sehr schöne Darstellung. Grüße aus Deutschland !
Danke schoen!
What a great job. I always wanted to do the Danish girl but just never got to it.
It seems like European women's hats like to be excessive lol. I remember the Dutch Fisher women with their great big winged hats with the twisted wire decorations from when I was a child there in the fifties.
HAT.
