Just to add. The speaker can play with the same ferocity on battery as if it was plugged in. Just press the bass boost button twice. You’ll hear the difference.
I think they are the same thing, just some website list it as “high power” and others don’t. At least thats what I could find. To my knowledge there aren’t 2 different versions of this speaker
You said you didn’t think it would be enough for a big party. If we had it up on a shelf above everyone in a basement or garage even if there’s 30-40 people do you still think it wouldn’t be enough?
I think if you’re trying to throw a serious ranger then yea I still don’t think it’ll get the job done. I used this at a party in a small apartment with around 20-30 people, and the noise of everyone talking to eachother made the speaker sound very quiet. Many people would come by and try to turn it louder during the party even when it was at max volume.
So I haven't actually tried either of these, but I heard the sony xb90 is much louder than the party box, or the soundboks if you're willing to spend a bit more
Jesse Chen interesting because it looks like by the specs the JBLPB300 has a higher decibel rating. I would have thought if I had the pb300 above the crowd that it would be loud enough. Thanks !
Not sure about anyone else, but when I charge my PB300 from 0% battery, it doesn't take 5 hours to fully charge. Maybe 1hr 30mins? Anyone know why that is?

What bluetooth speak do you prefer? For that price range or I should add a little bit more money 💰 🤔 and just get that bluetooth speaker...

yk its 120w on battery and 240w when plugged in, it gets 3.5db louder and in my opinion is enough for a party of 20 or more people when plugged in
