This camera looks awesome. I'm sold! I don't want to record 1 hour video and pick 2-minute best footage. It is a waste of time and space. Editing is an headache too. I found out most of my gopro footage was saved in the drive and I never opened them again. I want a real wearable camera for cycling, and I can simply press the button to record what I need. Great review man!
Cool video and demonstrations! I own a GO 2 myself and so far it has been great for outdoorsy activities like trail running and hiking - it's so portable and great for snapshots! It performed pretty well when I took it to the beach too, wearable cameras like GO 2 are really convenient for lifelogging when your smartphone is not so handy. I'm looking forward to using it on my bike ride next week.
Can it automatically capture still images at some preset interval (say once every 30s)? If so, how long would it last before it runs out of battery?
Thanks for making this video. It's pretty comprehensive and solid!
I bought this GO 2 about two months ago to record some of my cycling trips. I think it works pretty well so far. And I do like their idea of using algorithms to optimize the stabilization instead of relying on gimbals. (I'm pretty sure they can actually do better than GoPro with the Pro Mode on) As for the recording time ad battery life, it actually fits my need since I only capture the most fun/ epic minutes in the trip via a quick tap. (I don't like to have hour-long footage in order to cut bare minutes clip out of it.)
Great video ! thought it's great for taking epic pics!
Based on your video replay of the "Insta360 Go 2," I can only envision using it for hiking only. I have GoPro7 and would stick to it for all my action mtb rides. Otherwise, it does make a nice wearable cam while hiking. Cheers!!
