Lee's wit is honestly unmatched. He's so quick witted and comes up with such elaborate jokes on the spot. Lee, David and John R are some of my favourite comedians ever. Love when I can see all 3 of them together.

I'll be completely honest with y'all, I also use David Mitchell to help me get to sleep. There're a few excellent compilations if him ranting and I find them weirdly soothing.
I'm a ranty person like David, only differences he lives in London rich famous very funny educated at Oxford married with a child, me live in the poor north-east, disabled wheelchair user, not much money enough to get by now I can't work 😂😂, a little education at Newcastle college, not married no kids 44 Yr old but like him I still have my humour at the end of the day 😂😂😂
That waistcoat was very smart! I also loved the charcuterie box; very fun for a picnic. Those Birkenstock Boston slides look so comfortable. I have eyed them many times but just can't do it, I think I'll look too frumpy. Thank you for another fun video, Hannah! Glad the sun is finally making an appearance for you.
If it doesn’t have James Acaster, Henning Wein, Bob Mortimer and Kevin Bridges then it isn’t a best of WILTY. Also almost all the best ones are true but incredible.
I feel like every episode of this season has an iconic task, with some great ones still to come. Add in the perfect chemistry the cast has, and it really cements this as top tier Taskmaster.
Richard Osman’s cards are obvious lies because it’s clear that the production team give him Lee Mack quick thinking improv type joke cards because he is a quick thinker.
I’d HIGHLY recommend, Northumberland, beautiful national park and stunning almost deserted beaches. Holy Island (the start of Christianity in England, Viking raids, it’s the most fortified part of the U.K. because of almost 1000 years of invasions and cross Scottish border conflicts. The Roman occupation and Hadrians Wall world heritage site. Absolutely stunning towns and villages. Tons of heritage particularly the Industrial Revolution, coal mines and the invention of railways. Fascinating area and all too often overlooked.
Presumably, Rob has no experience trampolining. Having experienced numerous “bounce contests”, I know how to walk on with knees flexed to absorb the incidental bounces and not get sent flying.
I think in Sarah's cat cam story, she tried too hard to make it "sound true". I think the key to this is striking a balance of "seems plausible" and "that's ridiculous", whether it's true or not.
Because Henning's stories are always very long and drawn out. Rob has to timekeep and keep the show on schedule. When the audience is laughing, they are still entertained and so it puts him in a difficult position. He doesn't want to cut the entertainment short and cut off a story that would make the TV edit, but he also has to be aware that they only have two or three hours on set to record each show. The only contestant he was annoyed with was Richard Madeley after he joked about Lee's mediocre sitcom.
I'm genuinely curious - in the rounds where Rob reads out a card, are the 2 teams asked to have necessarily different answers? Because i find it very difficult to believe that they'd always believe the opposite about the same story, having played the same game for so long. Also if they are forced to answer one of each result, are they also instructed to show signs of believing their choice from the get-go? For eg, if David is eventually answering true, is he expected to be intentionally gullible and trusting of the story throughout the investigation bit?
There are some instances where they have the same answer though it is less common - I do wonder if they choose to go with the opposite so that someone is guaranteed the point instead of both of them getting it right or wrong.
@@finnmacmanus5723yep. Like all British comedy panels, the points mean nothing. It's all about us watching some funny ass dudes having some epic banter. 🤷♀️
