I’m a professional craft bartender at a high end jazz club. The 3 shakers at a time was very creative. Well done
I’ve been doing that when necessary (about half the time), for the past few months and my boss hasn’t complimented me once. She recently had a sit down with hr and has been much friendlier to me lately. I didn’t even half to say anything, that’s how bad it was. 😂
The name for the last shake is “You’re Fired”

The most style i used is that up & down shake..but his cool
the important point of Shaking is the let the ice roll inside the shaker. not up&down vertically.
many motions of that shaking skills look the ices are movin only vertically😢

Question: how much ice to add and which side of the shaker do you out it in. Fill the tall or the short one to the rim of the glass?
Bit confused on that part and is there a difference?
Goran Svraka our a lot of ice into large part 💪
i personally always fill into the smaller one, because if you fill the larger one with liquid (or ice) you risk the almost sure chance of spillage. If you only fill the smaller side up, you know that for sure there wont be anything spilling all over you.
remember, the small one has to fit into the bigger one with about 1cm of space on the lip when sealed, so if the big one is full, then your cocktails wont fit in the shaker.
regarding amount of ice; the more ice you add, the less shaking is required to chill/dilute the drink. I'd say maybe 1-2 cups of ice per mixer. you want to basically fill up the small side of the shaker, or come close to.

Смысл любого шейка в том, чтобы лёд циркулировал и в идеале не стукался об дно обоих частей.
Этого, кстати, японцы и добиваются хардшейком, хотя многие и думают, что у них цель разбить весь этот лёд🤦♂️, но этот отнюдь не так - при хардшейке лёд интенсивно циркулирует внутри шейкера и лишь обтесывается, но никак не разбивается.
