Sandra (Kari Matchett) gave Maud the catalyst that lead her to become a Canadian icon (someday North American??).
There is a beautiful bond of "supporting" sisterhood that I hope a whole bunch of "thee academy" recognizes.
The "happy little chicken" bit was sooooooo funny!
The presence of the absolutely beautiful AND intelligent Sandra brought a welcoming pause and took the edge off the film's tense spots.

I think this is the best movie of the year. I hope Sally Hawkins wins all the awards because she was great.

I enjoyed Maudie, watched it a couple of times. Great story, Great actors, didn't know until this interview that it was based on a true story.

Kari was fantastic in the supporting role as Sandra.
Kari and Sally connected well in every scene together.
Sandra had an intuition beyond the natural of Maud.
Very, very few movies pull you in as does Maudie.

I loved this movie,it’s one of the bestSally Hawkins is surperb actor,she gets into these roles like no other,I would love to just hug the real Maude Lewis she touches my heart ❤️
