Rest In Peace to the late, great Tatjana Patitz who was also in the video, but not in this interview, as Cindy stated. Tatjana was truly mesmerizing in the video. They all were. Everyone from the 90s remembers this video.
Christy is so damned distractingly stunning. A certain top fashion photographer, I can't remember his name, said she had the most perfect face of all of the hundreds of models he had photographed. He said she didn't have an imperfect angle.
I feel so sad looking preset days cause 80s and 90s was best time, best relationship, everybody and everything was best !!! Great George Michael and all top models who participated in this great video !!!
Yes. Linda is a "fox". I saw her in the video and I did a Google search for this video to figure out her name... Linda...are you single? I am...but I'm poor. Will you please adopt me?
Wow! This video is like a hidden treasure! What a time capsule. Oh how I wish I could go back to 1990. They are all so heavenly beautiful, but Linda was always my favorite. It's funny, I only knew her from the George Michael videos, and since she didn't speak in either of the videos, and being an elementary school boy, I didn't follow the fashion industry, and the internet wasn't a thing back then, I always thought she was European, like French or Italian. She was just so gorgeous in the "Too Funky" video, when she looks at the camera, arches her neck, and then gives that angelic smile. What a Diva.
This is truly incredible. Sounds like they had just finished filming the video and they hadn't seen it yet. And of course, Tatjana is missing from this interview. She was so mysterious... Although, she was probably in a pair of jeans riding her horse on a beach somewhere
Just your preference. She by no means we're larger or more stand out than others. For fame and recognition, Cindy destroyed them all. It was not even close.
She mentions it would be fun to have 20 years from then - and, now it is 34 years from then....Still such an innovative idea but that was GM - talent that was otherworldly. ❤

I am a fan of George for 28 years now and I see this for the first time...wow
....quiet as it's kept....GEORGE knew that SHE was the LEADER of the group SOCIALLY...so he asked her would she be in the video and could she talk the other ladies into it....and the rest is history.....
May sound weird, but I miss feeling ugly watching all these gorgeous women on mainstream. Nowadays people on the media are so ugly I feel gorgeous. It sucks. Ugliness everywhere.
You're right. Entertainment is supposed to be aspirational as well as a fantasy of what could be. This obsession with being real, relatable and the whole body positivity movement which was twisted into something it wasn't meant to be glamorizing unhealthy living ruined entertainment. If I wanted to see the kind of people that are now considered glamorous or beautiful in what passes for today's entertainment I won't bother paying for cable or streaming services. I'll just go to Walmart or a 7-11 during night time hours.
It’s so eerie that Tatjana isn’t in this interview and the first to pass.. The new September issue of British Vogue reuniting them again is also sad that she’s missing. These are the real supermodels, the icons!!!
Tbh the only MTV videos I watch from this channel are the 90s ones. After 2000 everything goes down to the toilet, with Next and Jackass and all that crap.
When models were still stunning & you couldn't help looking at the ads & shows they were in. Sorry but our brains know what beauty is & we like to look. I wish marketing executives would go back to what worked for centuries. Like a lot of people commented here, they are truly "mesmerizing" .
Cindy was the preppy model Linda was the stylist model Naomi was the sexy model Christy was the elegant model They have their own unique personality. Together they made a super group of models.
@@cicin9313 For the love of god-STOP trying to justify the fact that there wasn’t any colorism/ignorance/racism in the 90s when it came to the music/film/modeling industry. Naomi was hardly in the mix, let’s just keep it real. But you and your brethren’s want to act like people never see the blurred lines just because yall don’t have to go through the same struggle. Naomi has even talked about her experiences and struggles when it came to stuff like this. Regardless if they’re friends or not- regardless of this video SPECIFICALLY, she still WENT through shit like this. Yall really tire me tf out. 😒🙄

Yes!! Tatjana was my favorite but they are all beautiful! RIP 🙏
Christy is so damned distractingly stunning. A certain top fashion photographer, I can't remember his name, said she had the most perfect face of all of the hundreds of models he had photographed. He said she didn't have an imperfect angle.
OMG, Christy's chiseled face, love it!
I'm 42. Looking back...the 90s was one fuck of decade man!!
100%
I feel so sad looking preset days cause 80s and 90s was best time, best relationship, everybody and everything was best !!!
Great George Michael and all top models who participated in this great video !!!
I love this. Im 55. What a treasure. Rip 🙏
Linda Evangelista at her peak (this era) is the most beautiful woman I've ever seen.
Agreed. Along with Claudia Schiffer for me.
Yes. Linda is a "fox". I saw her in the video and I did a Google search for this video to figure out her name...
Linda...are you single? I am...but I'm poor. Will you please adopt me?
There’s so much glamour in this video seriously!

She is Italian in heritage but Canadian.
The top female supermodels of the '90s all in the same room chatting about George Michael. Love it.
This is truly incredible. Sounds like they had just finished filming the video and they hadn't seen it yet. And of course, Tatjana is missing from this interview. She was so mysterious... Although, she was probably in a pair of jeans riding her horse on a beach somewhere
They are all so gorgeous it’s unbelievable
They are all incredibly beautiful, but something about Evangelista is otherworldly.

@@timothychung4811 You're right - it is my preference.
The chameleon, I adore her.
This was the best time. Early 90s. Miss ‘em.
This is so cool, a behind the scenes talk on one of the most iconic videos of the 90's! Thank you for this great content and love the 90's stuff!!
This song still bangs! ❤️
Always.
All icons and stunning beauties ... Love how classy they are all dressed ~ ❤
.....exactly....thank you....
man i love these amazing ladies! of course Naomi is my favorite and she serves in that video!!!
I once saw Naomi Campbell in Paris, and must admit that it was quite an experience, the woman walked the pavement like a catwalk
I've never seen this before and it's blowing my mind.
ICONS
I miss supermodels. The 90's & early 2000's were the last times we had real models. These new ones don't even hold a candle.
Me too! And the 90s! I was so fun!
Thank god someone saved this video. Its pop culture at it's finest ❤
Iconic and timeless song and video 🤩
Good lord. Need more of these
8:06 Cindy lays down the law. (paraphrasing) "Yeah, we're not about looking stupid!"
What a great 90's find

All of them owns a Wham! album…awesome 😊
Linda always have the edgy look which makes her unique.
I loved hearing you all sing! I love you all so much, so much!!!
I love this era. Naomi had an advanced copy of the song in her Walkman ❤️
The album was out already. She didn't have an advanced copy. She has the album version. Clearly the others hadn't bought the album yet.

Que bonitas eran todas, cada una era única, diferente y naturalmente bella, hermosas las tops de los 90s
Nostalgia
And 33 years later, these 4 ladies are still best friends and they are going to be interviewed in the upcoming Apple TV Documentary "The Supermodels".
Just saw it. I didn't know jack about fashion and I loved it. Iconic ladies.
" David Fincher is one of the best video-directors." If she only knew what was coming...
True beauty
The 4 biggest Supermodels of all times . Love them all ❤️but Cindy is my all times favorite Supermodel .

And then when they finally do sing it, they sound pretty damn good 😮.
lol, walkman… ask someone what is it now 🤣
I used to watch MTV everyday and during summer vacation all day everyday but i dont remember seeing this..
Christie is the hottest
Супер клип!! Привет из России!! Ассалайму алайкум
OH NO-LINDA at her prime looks like the woman i should have married -so ICONIC LINDA-Lindaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa you are gorgeous

They were not Ford models. Four were from Elite which were Cindy, Linda, Naomi and Tatiana. The only Ford model was Christy.
Funny, no one ever mentions that there were male models in that video as well.
.....and they were so grateful to be in the video...and they have had great careers too since time has passed.....

The women who are fashion models talk about George Michael's new music video in the early 1990s called 'Freedom'. How original. 🙂
who’s here because of the Vogue September 2023 cover.
keep the original aspect ratios
WHY IS THE VOLUME SO LOW? COME ON!
...We are not into funny... Says Cindy Crawford!
just aced my biology test and are now outta class
This looks like crap in 16:9 aspect ratio. Leave the videos in their original 4:3 aspect ratio for god's sake.
When people still were naturally beautiful and not like the weird looking clones today
The one I liked most is not in this video. I mean the one with water falling on her.
The falling water is Cindy ...
no
@@unkind78 It was between Patsy and Cindy.
The only one who wasn’t here was tatjana patitz and she was the one who was leaning against the wall and later smoking the cigarette on the couch
@@unkind78 Maybe you are thinking of Nadja Auermann? She's in the Too Funky video and has water coming down on her
They barely acknowledged the girl to the far right.... :|
Iconic Naomi Campbell
His cousin Andros said he supposedly slept with one of them😳
I noticed she also was worried about being cut out the video too 😔
The camera man also excludes her from the frame in certain parts of the interview as well☹️

gigi bella kendall duckie sora did a similar music video but nobody gives twofcuks so they dumped it 😂😂😂
Things were SOOOOO more sophisticated back then.
Hey those chicks are kind of pretty. They could probably be models if they wanted to.
this lame as hell
How
Go cry somewhere else
Yes, they’re beautiful. But aren’t their speaking voices lovely too? 🥹 Certainly a big contrast to the in-your-face type of speech now.
This made me smile 😁
